Thoughts, anyone?

I didn't notice too much difference between the rebuilt one and the stock one. I was using 2 different Air tanks on 2 different isticks but my draw is a little on the tight side from the beginning. That's probably my biggest complaint with this tank is the draw is too airy and it takes finesse to get it where I want it.

I wasn't too crazy about the adjustment on these tanks either, fiddled with it a bit to get it where I wanted it.
But now I like the "Set it and Forget it" way it works. I am an admitted "Tootle Puffer".

So it had to be done. I am not a coilist! Well maybe I am because clearly coils with chimneys are superior. My "defective" coil had to be retired after only 2 days because I could no longer take its inferior performance. I think it was even making my juice taste - off. I checked my pack and am happy to report the rest of them all have chimneys in their proper place. Now my tank is up and running at peak performance again and I am a happy camper. :D

I like the air flow adjustment. It's easily fine tuned and the most efficient variable adjustment I've used.:2c::vapor:

I like it too now that I've figured out that I can use my nail file to adjust it and that I know exactly where I want it! Don't get me wrong....I absolutely LOVE these tanks!! Every liquid I have tastes great in them!!

That's what I'm missing, a nail file! Gotta be something a guy carries that I can adjust it with.
Maybe grow a long fingernail as my "Air Nail".

Long fingernail won't get down into that recessed screw hole! Lol I picked up 2 cheaply nail files from walmart. .99. The little points fit the screw perfectly AND go down into the hole. Lol

screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit may work. I have plenty of screwdrivers. I usually just use a bit designed to plug in a handle.:) I have been thinkin about findin a socket head screw to fit with some Teflon tape on it to make it tighter and be able to adjust it with my fingers. The adj. screw ends up to the inside on my 50's when tightened down so sticking out wouldn't be a problem.

I can't take any tools or metal objects in to work, metal detector and inspection.

Maybe the CIA has invented a carbon fiber tool that evades detection!
