Yep! I've built 3 coils on it...none have read on the ohms meter.
If you assembled it correctly and put the metal pin back in it, then you should be getting a reading. If it's grounded out, you would still get a reading, even if it's 0 ohms...???

I'll try it again in a few minutes. If I get the same thing I'm pitching it. Thanks for your help!!

Maybe the rubber insulator is worn. Try pullin the metal tip out just a bit and then screw it back in the base. You should get a reading then.

No trouble. Just inspect the insulators and everything as you assemble it. I always dry burn the coil before wicking it.
Alright!! Another coil saved! I checked everything before I put it together, checked everything with each step...it works!!! Thank you!!

You're welcome Lynn. I was gonna suggest duct tape if that didn't work

No idea! Probably something I did wrong...:blush:
Maybe pushed the pin in too tight when you squeezed the cap on? I've had to pull a couple out a bit so they would contact the base. I avoid squeezing the pliers on the pin.
