The GSA-MS looks like a good tank to use on my iSticks when I'm out and about - and maybe even in place of my drippers if what I've been reading here is true. Really like the form factor.

A few questions, though:

1. Can the body of the tank be disassembled? Has that been confirmed? If not, how do you clean it out? (I switch liquids every day or two.)

2. Are the wicks of stock coil assembly cotton or silica? (Can't tell for sure in the rebuild video - kind of looks like silica).

Yeah, probably so. But going by that picture someone posted a couple of pages ago, it might be possible to cut them out with the pliers.
Hmmmm... I have a vision of cutting the un-knurled end off of a chain saw sharpening file...

(DO NOT try this at home. One size does not fit all. Always use eye protection. Not available in all states...et cetera.)

1.the Air tanks have silicone sealant applied to the upper threads to deter disassembling, it can still be done at the risk of breaking the glass.

2.the stock coils are silica.
I clean mine by using the "spray" setting on my kitchen faucet and directing it into the fill hole.
I also clean mine with an ultra sonic cleaner.
Hope this answered some of your questions...:)

Oh cool, Cheech! You learned me a new trick. I didn't know you could clean and reuse them. I thought you were just recoiling them in which I may do one of these days.
The Video you posted a couple of days ago is yours? (Sorry, I didn't even look at it. I just saved it for future use, in case I would want to attempt recoiling with my new spectacles. :)

Sorry, I don't use the spray to clean the coils, it's to clean the tank. Coils I rewick.
Yep, my video. I really need to redo it, it drags on for too long. I just didn't know how to edit it down...:(

Are these magic spectacles? Or do they really exist? :)

:lol::lol: That was probably my fault for reading over that post too fast. You were speaking of cleaning the tank
and yes, my glasses are about 400 dollars real. Well, I probably need the patients back that I had when I was a little younger also, for recoiling.

Bummers, though. Can't stand the taste of silica - although the intent was to rebuild anyway - and cleaning and drying out the tank looks to be a hassle if it can't be disassembled. I used to use compressed air to dry evod tanks, but even that looks iffy with the small slots in the GSA MS...

What to do, what to do....:glare:

Oh..I don't think the rebuild vid is too long at all. Thanks for that too. :)

Empty Long Dropper Bottles for E-liquids (5-Pack) $2.18
    15ml, 5-Pack, Translucent / SKU: 2205504

These were in the long-delayed FT order. Long, skinny tips are great for filling the Ms.
I've seen those before and was tempted...is the tip long enough to reach into the fill hole of the M's?
(Perhaps I could have phrased that better)

I had been rebuilding Evods and Mini Protanks for some time and was very happy with them, couldn't stand silica myself.
The first time I tried the GS Air with stock coils I was sold!
I didn't think anything could beat my beloved Minis.
The rebuilding came about because I couldn't stand the idea of buying coils and throwing them away.
the rebuilding just made them that much better! :)

The ones I have taken apart, you could probably pretty easily re-wick with cotton. Haven't actually tried re-wicking yet, just went ahead and coiled and wicked.

In honour of her highness, the Kat of Birds, and his honour, the King of Cheech coils, I did "find the time" <cough> to clean out my brand new "M" tank so that I could give it a go today. I simply rinsed it out, let it dry for a short while, than gave it a nice little shake-a shake-a. It's truly that easy. The same would apply between flavor changes.

Why didn't you guys tell me the fill ports are so weird on this tank?? :D

I managed to fill it with a dripper (glass) top, and most likely succeeded because I didn't know any better. It was a little touch and go as the level got closer to the top and I had to reduce the angle. But I persisted by dripping it down right on the threads....... and hoping for the best!

Success. I'm vaping it now, and I'd like to give you all my review.

It's WONDERFUL!

Two things:
First - has anyone seen Mud around lately?
Second - I have found that even the eLeaf coils are hit and miss. I just changed out one that I was using for about three weeks. Probably could have kept on using it too, except it was just performing rather poorly. Still performing, though. Now I'm on one that has barely been in a week and its performance seems to be fading already. The juices are different, however, the darker, higher VG juice has lasted longer on a coil at one point, than the clearer, lower VG juice, and vice-versa. So, it has to be the coils are just off every now and then, right? I feel I would be remiss if I didn't hit this point home once again; even at their worst, the GSAs and their coils have been the best setup I have found thus far.
And there's my :2c::2c: (twice because it was a bit more than just two cents worth). :D
