Even with my drill press, that little critter would be a booger to drill out.
Yeah, probably so. But going by that picture someone posted a couple of pages ago, it might be possible to cut them out with the pliers.

Hmmmm... I have a vision of cutting the un-knurled end off of a chain saw sharpening file...Yeah, probably so. But going by that picture someone posted a couple of pages ago, it might be possible to cut them out with the pliers.
1.the Air tanks have silicone sealant applied to the upper threads to deter disassembling, it can still be done at the risk of breaking the glass. The GSA-MS looks like a good tank to use on my iSticks when I'm out and about - and maybe even in place of my drippers if what I've been reading here is true. Really like the form factor.
A few questions, though:
1. Can the body of the tank be disassembled? Has that been confirmed? If not, how do you clean it out? (I switch liquids every day or two.)
2. Are the wicks of stock coil assembly cotton or silica? (Can't tell for sure in the rebuild video - kind of looks like silica).
Oh cool, Cheech! You learned me a new trick. I didn't know you could clean and reuse them. I thought you were just recoiling them in which I may do one of these days.1.the Air tanks have silicone sealant applied to the upper threads to deter disassembling, it can still be done at the risk of breaking the glass.

I clean mine by using the "spray" setting on my kitchen faucet and directing it into the fill hole.
I also clean mine with an ultra sonic cleaner.
Hope this answered some of your questions...![]()
Sorry, I don't use the spray to clean the coils, it's to clean the tank. Coils I rewick.Oh cool, Cheech! You learned me a new trick. I didn't know you could clean and reuse them. I thought you were just recoiling them in which I may do one of these days.
The Video you posted a couple of days ago is yours? (Sorry, I didn't even look at it. I just saved it for future use, in case I would want to attempt recoiling with my new spectacles.![]()

Yep, my video. I really need to redo it, it drags on for too long. I just didn't know how to edit it down...
Are these magic spectacles? Or do they really exist?![]()

That was probably my fault for reading over that post too fast. You were speaking of cleaning the tank

and yes, my glasses are about 400 dollars real. Well, I probably need the patients back that I had when I was a little younger also, for recoiling.
plus they are probably brass.. chrome plated.. you loose the plating and have to contend with the mystery china brass.Hmmm. I wonder if you could drill them out a bit or use a pair of dikes to cut the channel bigger.
Yep, I is Freebird...couldn't get Cheechako to work on their system, dang communists!Hmmm...I subscribed to FreeBird on YouTube! Thought that was you Cheech!![]()

I've seen those before and was tempted...is the tip long enough to reach into the fill hole of the M's?

Empty Long Dropper Bottles for E-liquids (5-Pack) $2.18
15ml, 5-Pack, Translucent / SKU: 2205504
These were in the long-delayed FT order. Long, skinny tips are great for filling the Ms.
I had been rebuilding Evods and Mini Protanks for some time and was very happy with them, couldn't stand silica myself.
Thanks!
Bummers, though. Can't stand the taste of silica - although the intent was to rebuild anyway - and cleaning and drying out the tank looks to be a hassle if it can't be disassembled. I used to use compressed air to dry evod tanks, but even that looks iffy with the small slots in the GSA MS...
What to do, what to do....
Oh..I don't think the rebuild vid is too long at all. Thanks for that too.![]()

(Perhaps I could have phrased that better)

(twice because it was a bit more than just two cents worth).
