Greeting airheads. Had a long day. Congrats, LVM. When's she due?

I also had a problem today with one of my rebuilt coils, but I'm too wiped out to deal with asking about it right now. I've got to turn in soon to get up and do it all some more tomorrow. This thread from today has been the perfect tonic to help me unwind.

Nanny, I think I've got the recipe in my head, but I'd like to take a look no matter how you think it turned out.:) Hope you had a fun party!

New way to remove the Air coil cap!
The GS Air actually comes with it's own cap removal tool!

  1. Screw the coil into the Air base
  2. Invert the tank over the coil inserting it into the air tube
  3. Lever the tank back and forth gently
  4. Pull off tank and cap is ready to remove
The air tube protects the chimney on the coil cap. I have removed several caps in this manner from factory coils and rebuilds.
When you are ready to reseat the cap, reverse the process but simply press down on the cap with the inverted tank.
Again, I have reseated several caps in this manner and again, the chimney is unharmed.
No more worrying about using pliers and marking or damaging the cap!
This system works excellent with the GS Air bottom!

I will await confirmation from fellow rebuilders...I hope!

Evening, Buddies!! Hope you all had a great day!
Congrats, LVM! A baby granddaughter is just lovely! Just be careful wishing for those PAYBACKS on your daughter - my son was a real PITA and I always told him I hoped he would grow up and have a set of TWINS just like him, so he could see the torture he put us through. Well, darned if he didn't do it! Trouble is, at least TWO days a week they are **ALL MINE** to watch. So I kinda shot myself in the foot with that one. I wouldn't take a MILLION DOLLARS for them -- but I wouldn't give you ONE RED CENT for ten more just like em. Holy STIH, they are heck on wheels. And now I am twice as old as I used to be! Who's getting the payback now?? Not their daddy -- he drops them off here with me and I know he laughs all the way to work. That little ......

The cauliflower dish we had with dinner was good - but not great. I would have liked more bacon and onion in it -- this is the recipe I will try next time, it is basically the same with the improvements already here: Loaded Cauliflower Casserole - Louanne's Kitchen
(No complaining about recipe sharing, fellas -- if we can look at LANYARDS ten times a week, then YOU can gloss over the mention of a recipe!)

I'm sure there is more I meant to say and left out ... you guys were busy again today!

Thanks for the recipe, Nanny. If you behave, I'll share my secret for butterflied leg of lamb in mustard and garlic. But it's late for me...get up at 4:30 and fade while you kids are still going strong.

Sweet dreams, sueños dorados, to all.
