I'm 99% sure the grommets are identical on the Airs and Kanger BCC. Somewhere on my travels I saw a link to a source for them, called a "Universal Somethin' or Other". They're the same on a lot of coils. It may have been on the Protank Micro Coil thread. You could ask over there. Folks been rebuilding BCC's a lot longer than the Airs have been around.

Lynn, can't help with the resistance of the coil, but as far as waiting for the coil to prime, I put a drop of juice on each of the 4 slits in the coil. I know what you are thinking, the slits are too small for juice to enter. Actually, the coil sucks the juice right up. Then assemble, close off the airflow, and take some puffs without firing. Whalaa, your coil is now primed.

Had quite an adventure with a coil at work. I always keep extras in my lunch bag for those days at work when one goes bad. Happened today.. My juice started tasting bad so I decided to change them out in the locker room so they'd be primed before lunch. Lunch time rolls around and I take a hit off the tank on the mini. OMG!! I almost died the hit was so strong and burnt tasting. So I turned the mini all the way down. Same thing. The one thing I don't like about the mini is that it doesn't tell you the ohms of the coil. So I take that tank off the mini and put it on the 30W...no wonder....Ohms in that coil were .6 I put the old coil back in it. I don't know how that happened! I always check ohms when I rebuild. Both before and after I dry burn the coil

I have no idea, either (but listening). But I offer condolences!

I pulled a Kanger protank insulator and it doesn't really seem to fit well in the base of the air. But mine looks like the one in the last picture in that link.

If I'm at work I'd have to pour the juice out of the tanks on the coil. It's a very messy proposition.

I'm sorry, the other way. The protanks seem too loose. They don't fit in smoothly. First, you have to jam the lower ridge through (and that's without wire legs!). Then the upper part of the insulator doesn't seal like the air. It moves freely. But you can put the pin in and that seems to wedge it in there.

I may try one for real, put some vg in there and let it sit on a paper towel overnight.

That's no good...when you screwed in your coil, it would allow the wires to move. Dangit!
We'll find the solution...neccessity is the mother of invention!

Be gentle with your tanks...take time to tell them how much you like them and they will do their utmost to
cooperate with your endevours. Read some Kipling or King to them and you will have minimal spillage.

I assembled a coil with the Kanger insulator and the bottom pin is rotating freely and the coil is jiggling around in there. I don't know if the rubber ones will work, but it looks like the silicon ones are a no go.
