Jingles, if you wrapped those tanks with either rubber hair bands or even get some of those vape/tank bands those tanks wouldn't break like that. I dropped an istick with a MS on it on the concrete floor at work the other day and the only thing that happened was a scratch on the istick. It dropped from chair height. Plus, I have to work on granite surface tables(a solid chunk of granite) and mine bump against the table in my pocket. So far none have broken!
Just popping in to say hi! @Jingles, sorry about another broken one. When I was going to refill a little while ago, I must've tightened the bottom on too much and the head unscrewed apart. The bottom cap was on so tight that I had to unscrew it the rest of the way. So I got everything apart and noticed that the so called glass seems to be plastic? I put it all back together and it's working fine.
I wanted to ask you, when these break, is it in sharp glass pieces or does it look a little like the tip that someone took a hammer to?? Just curious because once everything is apart, that 'glass' is mighty light and tapping on it, it sounds and feels like plastic.
Thanks. :)

Not sure about wether it's glass or plastic. There are jagged edges like someone took a hammer to it. I am at work now. Will look at it closer when I get home tonight. Just call me clumsy or very unlucky!

@Jingles, got your package! I'll get these done tomorrow. There's a movie on tomorrow afternoon that I want to watch. Plus, I'll be ready for a break by then!
What tanks keep breaking on you? Airs, M's or MS's?

@Nanny22, starting on yours when I get back from the grocery store.

The regular Airs are the ones that keep breaking on me. I still like the regular Airs a lot too. The draw is perfect for me and I don't even mess with the screw. I also think the flavor is a little better, more intense than the M's. Lynn, glad my package finally arrived. Again, no hurry....

Plus one on this. I never even bought the M. After the reviews of it, I decided to stick with the GSAs. Why mess with a good thing? I've only broken one and that was only after dropping it several times - on hardwood floors, and finally a very hard tile floor, which was its undoing. I have a hard time believing they are plastic. They seem to be pretty thick glass to me.

You don't owe me anything but friendship cause that's what friends do!! And that goes for Jingles as well! :)

I was speaking of the M being plastic. Not sure about the GS air. What did it look like when it broke Lv? I have one, but I can't get it apart.

It just cracked. It didn't really break apart.

It was an Air that broke on me too. It looked like shards. I used toilet paper to get it off the battery because I was scared it would cut my hand. Same thing when I got it home to see if I could salvage the top. I did get the base off and the drip tip off.

Heya Airheads! What did I miss?

The M is plastic???? Really? Yikes. I need another, larger capacity Air tank--should i wait for the new one, whatever it's called?

Missed y'all! Busy time in RW.

Anyone tried those cotton coils yet, BTW? I tried to read back...

I have been using the new cotton coils lately and I am so happy they finally made the change. As you recall, I was literally the only one complaining of the funky taste with the original stock coils. Now, with the revised coils, the flavor is as it should be! They also seem to perform very well with no dry hits yet. As for rebuilding them, I am not so sure since the cap does not come off like what it does with the original ones. I have not tried to recoil/rewick from the bottom hole yet. Managed to take off the top dish and will do it when I rebuild. You can use a chubby plier grasping the small chimney tube to pry it off. To put it back, there is another story and hopefully someone of you find an easy way.
I am mainly using the MS tank onto my 1100 mah Ego ONE battery. Love this for out and about! Most of the times, I have rebuild the coils to around .7 ohm making this one a petite subohm setup.

I'll rebuild 'em for you if you're willing to wait. I only do it on weekends. I don't have time during the week when I'm working but I'm off all week. :)
Awesome! I've got plenty of coils I bought. I'm just curious about the ones that are rebuilt, so no big rush. :D

If you could get them sent this week I could rebuild them while I'm off and get them back to you. I'm almost done(2 more) with Nanny's, doing Jingles's tonight so...
