Sadly, evape seems to have shortened their aparatus coverage:
It looks that way. I wonder if iSmoka has shortened the 90 day warranty themselves. I don't see the same info on the eleaf site. I would not buy an eleaf brand mod with just a 30 day warranty from anybody. I know of and have had too many go bad after 2 -3 months.

They still have a manufacturers warranty of 90 days apparently.
Warranty Terms

All Eleaf products directly purchased from Eleaf USA's official online store (Eleaf USA | Electronic Cigarette | E-Liquid | Vaporizer except consumables and rebuildable products, are covered by warranty for a standard 90 days from the date of purchase ("warranty period").
I have an email in to them asking if the warranty only applies to purchases from their online store. I wouldn't pay the extra money for the warranty. 70 bucks for a 50w?

Hmmm.... They say that they "provide a 30 day warranty on all items except replacement coils and batteries." So what is their warranty for coils and batteries?

Just trying to decipher the message...

Heya Airheads!

they have no control over haw you use coils or batteries and they can easily be damaged by misuse.

Nobody has any control over how people use their products; ergo, no manufacturer should ever offer a warranty of any kind?

some products are a little more idiot proof than others and abuse or misuse is easier to detect on them

I just ordered my first GS Air, a GS Air MS, and two packs of 1.2 ohm organic coils from Sweet-vapes.com, thanks for the sources folks. :) I look forward to hooking the GS Air and the GS Air MS up to a dual piped drip tip at the same time running two istick 30W mods firing at 20 W each, for a total of 40 W parallel vaping and huge clouds.
I might have been kidding with that last sentence. :D

Comment: Do any of your distributors give a 90 day warranty. I can only get a 30 day warranty from evape.us and SweetVapes.com Can you only get the warranty buying direct from you?

Hiya Katya! Sadly, there is not enough support or warranties for vape gear from China...

I've been vaping for 5.5 years and every battery I have ever purchased, from China or from USA, had some kind of warranty--always. Even old cigalikes I used to buy from V4L, Bloog and SmokeStik were covered against manufacturing defects. Joyetech and other makers of eGos also provided warranty on their batteries--from 2 weeks to 3 months (Joyetech). I know because I always read the small print and I had a few batteries fail--they all have been replaced by the vendor and a new battery was sent to me free of charge. The best vendors even sent me return labels so that I could ship the defective batteries back to them for free.

If Eleaf is seriously refusing to offer any kind of warranty on their batteries, I'm certainly not going to buy from them. I'll be buying from Kanger, Joyetech and Innokin. :)

I politely disagree. Most coils are DOA only because they are inexpensive and disposable, so it would make really no financial sense for the manufacturers to offer extended warranties on them. But batteries are expensive and non-consumable, and thus should be covered. Just like our computers, cell phones and microwaves are covered. How does one abuse a battery? If you drop it on your concrete driveway and it shatters, it's not covered and quite easily established. If you accidentally take it for a swim or get juice into the circuitry, it's also very easy to prove--not covered. But if a battery suddenly starts to autofire (like the 50s do), then it's a manufacturing defect and should be covered.

So nobody else that sells isticks have a 90 day warranty like you do? You have the highest prices. Higher than your distributors. Much higher. Why do they say 30 day warranty and you say 90 day warranty? Is eleafus.com and joyetech.com the only ones who have the 90 day warranty?

It's the control module that's autofiring, not the battery. Improper assembly or even user error can cause the chip to do this or poor design of the circuitry.....but not the battery itself. I think they are talkin about replaceable batteries and not the integrated mod batteries.
