Well of course when I find something I like you can't get it anymore, lol. I went to Sweet Vapes to order some more of the original GS Air 1.5 ohm dual coils, and they are out of stock. I emailed asking if they are going to restock. I am hoping that they aren't just going to stock the 1.2 ohm coils now, we will see. Anyone know of any other U.S. suppliers of the GS Air 1.5 ohm dual coils? I searched and all I found were either too expensive (only 9.50 at sweet vapes when stocked) or from China, with some looking like clones, not for me.
Before dissing clones, consider the following, please.
I've been vaping Airs, in all three versions, since around March. At first I had no problems with eleaf coils except those that came installed in the tanks. Those died quickly. The others lasted two weeks or more. Then I got some ft clones. Once Cheech taught me to prime them, they behaved just as well as the eleaf coils, lasting 2+ weeks on average.

And then... IMRs posted that his authentic eleaf coils were burning out after a day or two of use. I wouldn't have found that credible, but IMRs is for real.
And then... I bought two five packs of genuine, authentic, real eleaf coils, and the first seven have had lifespans of about 1.25 days, but who's counting?

I'll use up the remaining three Genuine, Authentical Duds, and happily return to
the clones. YMMV.

Rebuilds... after getting the process down and solid, my failure rate is standing at a very steady zero.

Well thanks for that bit of information! I had just read a review on one Fasttech (I think it was there, that said his first coils weren't machined properly and he returned and his next set were good. I think you are right though, quality can be an issue with the original manufacturer as well, I had one coil that after a while, would hardly produce vapor, the others have been good though (eleaf brand, cotton coils 1.2 ohms). If you have a clone supplier with a good price on the original 1.5 ohms you've had good luck with, I would like to know them, thanks!

Something to think about with some of the "clones". These coils are manufactured in China with companies like sweet-vapes, gotvapes etc as being the middle man from the manufacturers in China. I wouldn't be scared to say that the "clones" at FasTech aren't the same as the ones from websites here.

David, most folks order from FasTech.com. Since this company is in China stuff can take awhile to get here but you can most of these there cheaper.

I'm glad for those who enjoy rebuilding and have learned to do it well.
I may try that come autumn, but in warm weather months I do lots of flower hybridizing, which requires weeding an acre or more of working beds. I have motor control of my hands, but reduced sensory nerves--think of perpetual numbness. (This is also a good excuse for frequent typos .)
I suspect this might lead to some weird coiling adventures. Remind me to try rebuilding after the seed harvest in late October.

These are what I bought: $13.30 Replacement Coil Head for Eleaf GS Air Clearomizer (10-Pack) (1.5ohm, 10-Pack) at m.FastTech.com - FastTech Mobile

Through an anomaly in ft's pricing, you would be better off buying the smaller quantity packages:
$6.39 Replacement Coil Head for Eleaf GS Air Clearomizer (5-Pack) (1.5ohm, 5-Pack) at m.FastTech.com - FastTech Mobile

David, you can also get these coils at evape:

Electronic Cigarette - Best Electronic Cigarette - Vapor Cigarette GS Air Coil (Pack of 5) at www.evape.us

I'm with Gran, though. I bought a pack of 10 from Fast Tech and they've all been good coils, lasting 2 plus weeks. I'm actually not sure they are clones. The FT listing says they are authentic, and FT is usually good at saying something is a clone. The downside, of course, is the shipping time. I recently ordered a big bunch of them just to have them in reserve. The more coils I have, the more rebuild stock.

You are rebuilding those tiny GS Air coils? That's impressive if you are!
Yep. Costs about 40 cents apiece and I can build as low as I want (just made a 0.9 ohm today, in fact)... just need to buy and use up a stash upfront in order to have some fodder. Still in the process of that with the newer coils.

Really not that tough a process. Cheech has a couple of good instuctional videos for the older coils. Expect the first one to be a dud... they usually are.

Hey small world, that's where I saw the review comment about the first pack not being machine properly. I noticed that pricing anomaly as well. That's a great price! How long did delivery take you?

Hi Linda,
The ones I bought were not described as "authentic", and the internal diameter of the air hole is smaller than the eleaf coils, but the vape is no different. If you purchase 5 5-packs, the unit cost is $1.16/coil. I can enjoy that for a coil lasting two weeks or longer.

Because I—foolishly—ordered another out-of-stock item, shipping was delayed. Once FT actually handed the package off to China post, it was about ten or twelve days until it was in Maine, with half that time accounted for by USPS.

Thanks Linda! You guys are awesome, I couldn't find them anywhere at a decent price other than Fasttech. It's good to have feedback from folks who have actually ordered the product. I have read that sometimes the "clone" manufacturers are the same manufacturer as the branded ones in China, but it's hard to know what you get unless you hear it from someone like you guys. :)
