Cloudmann, speak for yourself...mine wasn't! That coil lasted me a week and a half!:lol::lol::lol:
I went into rebuilding GS coils after having done it on Kanger Subtank coils for a while... i felt like an aircraft mechanic performing surgery on a Matchbox car... with a pair of tweezers.

Some figure of speech about a monkey and a football comes to mind.

This is the 21st century. there is no need to have a vent hole in a tank coil to vent the battery compartment like the first stick ecigs did, I think the chinese just keep doing it. haha :)
The new GS-Tank has a flush, hole-free, bottom!

Hi Linda,
The ones I bought were not described as "authentic", and the internal diameter of the air hole is smaller than the eleaf coils, but the vape is no different. If you purchase 5 5-packs, the unit cost is $1.16/coil. I can enjoy that for a coil lasting two weeks or longer.

Gran, are you sure those aren't authentic? Usually when something is a clone they use "styled" in the listing headline. I know they are wrapped inside a little bit differently. But I get exactly the same performance from them as I got from the ones I've ordered in the past from Sweet Vapes.

I'm tempted to buy some of those tanks and just use the old coils in them. I'm not interested in temp control. But I like the fact the tank is stainless steel. Should last a lot longer. Just wish it held as much as an M.
Looks MS size. The old coils will fit?

Thanks Linda! You guys are awesome, I couldn't find them anywhere at a decent price other than Fasttech. It's good to have feedback from folks who have actually ordered the product. I have read that sometimes the "clone" manufacturers are the same manufacturer as the branded ones in China, but it's hard to know what you get unless you hear it from someone like you guys. :)

David, here is one more source. Desert Vapes has a 5-pack for $8.95:

What's the term? A tootle whomper? :p

I suppose it is supposed to mean the best of both worlds but I could be wrong. I haven't kept up with my vape lexicon! Shameful I know. :nun:

About the tank, I believe it's a 3 ml, which is a tad bigger than the ms. Also can use the 1.5 or the 1.2 coils. At least that's the theory.

Well of course when I find something I like you can't get it anymore, lol. I went to Sweet Vapes to order some more of the original GS Air 1.5 ohm dual coils, and they are out of stock. I emailed asking if they are going to restock. I am hoping that they aren't just going to stock the 1.2 ohm coils now, we will see. Anyone know of any other U.S. suppliers of the GS Air 1.5 ohm dual coils? I searched and all I found were either too expensive (only 9.50 at sweet vapes when stocked) or from China, with some looking like clones, not for me.

It seems to me that someone posted a few pages back that the old coils work just fine on the new tank. And the new coils work on the old tanks. Which means we have more choices now - always good. :)

Yeah, I think sometimes I'm a tootle whomper, too. I don't go for the high wattages, but I love the long airy draws.

I thought they just said the old coil registered on the battery, but my understanding (someone correct me if I am wrong) is that the new tc coils are back-combat with gs airs so then the gs air coils will work on the gs-tank. Hope so......I just bought one for that very purpose.

According to the ft comments for the ten-pack, ft says the coils are from "a different manufacturer". Which may mean the same mfr., shipped to ft on Thursdays with a full moon. They come in cellophane rather than hard plastic packaging, but the cardboard container has the eleaf logo on it. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that they are

coils.

All the coils have been verified by Eleaf as working on all the GS Air clearomizers... for whatever reason, they're not clarifying that anymore on their websites.

@Oregon Linda - It's actually the other way around... unless Fasttech specifically labels a product as "authentic" it's a clone. Styled is something they came up with that didn't sound as offensive or whatnot and they don't always use the term.
