What ohms are you reading? If you're using a stock coil, then you may have blown one. And after you hit it, do you see bubbles floating up from the bottom of the tank? That will tell you whether it's wicking well or not?
Yes. Just saw bubbles and it's reading 1.5 ohms.

So you don't have a bad coil. Did you take it out and put it back yet?
Yes. No leaking so far. Maybe I'm hitting it too often. The burnt taste seems to be coming mostly when I hit it back to back, so maybe I'm hitting it too hard, too often...

Leaking and a Burnt Taste usually don't go Together.

You might check to see if the e-Liquid Inlet Slots on the Outer Barrel are lined up with the Wick Slot on the Inner Body.

Take a Pin or Small Needle and give the Sleeve Wick a Gentle Poke thru the outer Slot. If you feel Metal, the Outer Slot in the Barrel is not lined up with the Inner Slot.
You're talking about the 1.5 ohm coils? Haven't taken one of those apart yet, but I have the 1.2 ohm vertical coils and don't remember an inner body on that one

Well if you're doing the same thing you've always done and it was seated sounds like a bad coil to me. Once a burnt taste always a burnt taste at some point. For me anyway. I have no tolerance for burnt.:nah:

You are Right.

That tech I mentioned would Only work for Heads that have a Slotted Inner Body.

Hey I just Noticed Something.

I popped the Barrel off a 1.5 Ohm Head to check what was Inside. just like I remembered it. A Slotted inner body with a Horizontal Coil/Silica Wick.

OK...

So then I went to Pop Off the Barrel to a 1.2 Ohm. Ummmm... Not - Popping - Off - ? Three Tries with the Inverted Tank method later and No Pop. Screw that. Planets are in a Bad Alignment.

Tried a Nickel TC Coil. Same thing. What the Fluck is going on? Time for the LED Magnifier.

They're Different!

The 1.5 Ohm Barrel/Body is Different from the 1.2 Ohm and Nickel TC Barrel/Body.

now, now, tweety! ;) i know you know that's an oversimplification! and depending on the coil resistance, even downright off :D

It's a simplification, of course, and I should have specified that it only works in our (my) tottle puffing range. So, let me restate: if you're vaping at 5-22 watts or so, using a typical 1.2-2.2Ω atomizer, an increase or decrease of .1v will increase or decrease your wattage by .4-.6 watts. :)

Finally got my GS Air tank today!
Of course, the first thing I did was to try and put on an Ego ONE Mega tank base with CLR coil on it. Nope! Does not work! Argh.,... I had this slight hope it would fit.

However, this tank is cute!
It is going through vodka bath right now and will try it tonight in TC mode.
