Ever since I bought one a few months ago I don't understand why it wasn't more successful. A two battery mod that has the shape and size of a single battery mod and is great at managing batteries. It's the only 2 battery mod I take out on errands, being that small and light.
If you have one, please tell me your experience.
And if you don't, would you buy one?

I considered this as my 1st two-battery mod, but then I was offered the JT ESpion kit for the same price, and the Eleaf Invoke Kit was just TOO bland to compete with that.

Plus, for a while it looked like Eleaf had dropped the production, but now it has reappeared in some stores, at quite a hefty price point ($50 and up). That's a no-go for such an outdated mod. By now this should be on the bargain shelf for 18.99.
I've seen it at Vapor DNA for 39.99 bucks. They also have all the colors.

DELETED.

EDIT: I've been "informed" via DM that my posts in this thread are "mean" and that many people complained about me being "evil" at times in the past. Erh, ok. Don't know what to say about this, really, except that I'll gladly delete those posts here.. and if you think my posts are "evil" at some point, feel free to tell me.
Blocked. In 10 years of being in this forum I've never been this mistreated. Thank you for ruining the thread. The whole point was clearing the air privately. You've just made it public and that is mean.

I love mine (won a kit) and probably would never have one otherwise. It is TINY, light, and durable. I should probably get a backup at some point.

I do think? Maybe? The folks wanting a small setup may feel a one battery setup would work equally well for them, IDK. But, I happen to think mine is fantastic. It's the same size as my dani mini and no, it's not the same vape and etc., but I think that's fantastic for a dual battery mod and one reason why I love it.

I have one - it was my very first dual battery mod. Runs fantastic with arctic fox firmware. It's small, great hand feel and reliable :)

When they hit the market, I bought two kits and was full of enthusiasm.
But time a e experience showed some hidden problems with the Invoke. The fire button not registering at random. Power was lower than what shown on display.

No way I was able to drive more than 160 Watt into the coil - a far cry from the advertised value.
But what made me retire the devices, was the fact that, above 50 Watt, the power was fluctuating a good 20% up and down the set value. And, in TC, the devices had a couple seconds lag in tracking when you are taking a long drag.

I don't know if I have been unlucky with two unstable lemons, or they are all like that.

I think you can load Arctic Fox on them? That might fix your TC issue and make things more accurate.

I have had zero problems with the fire button.

I also have yet to meet a mod that will hit its advertised specs, although I will say 160 might be a more reasonable TARGET than those "We give you the 240 watts of power only you won't find two 18650s that can output that!"

Also.... Redlining your mod, even if you can, is just probably not the greatest idea. Period. It's not. Mods just aren't happy when you do it. They aren't. I'm not saying you SHOULDN'T get your power (although as a MTL vaper, "Whhhy?" springs to mind, but I would never expect a mod to redline and work well for a long period of time.

I have a little lab with some test equipment, this is why I like to test the devices.

As you said as MTL Vaper don't need to go that high, but I tested the Invokes only because they didn't behave right as soon put batteries in them - note, the VTC5A.

Many quality mods don't mind if operated close to their max; while, they "sweat" and they can fail - out of thermal fatigue - if you use a coil lower than 0.25 Ohm, including the DNA75C.

Of all mods that I have (many) only the Dicodes do not mind of a very low Ohm coil, as long as the battery can deliver.

Sometime low ohm could be cause by short-circuit. If a mod just operates regardless of low ohm, that might not be a good thing. Remember, low ohm high current can kill your board easily.

I vape mine at .25 ohms, 60W and it behaves fine! I use LG 3000 mAh batteries.

I should note, I decided this mod was gonna be my vacopalypse mod. I bought 8 of them. It's not my VERY favorite setup but it is a FANTASTIC setup. I was not about to buy a bunch of crazy expensive mods for the vacopalypse. Although I do have some sitting around just resting as I rotate them for now.

But I am very happy to have 8 of them sitting behind a "do not break glass until an emergency happens." I got a fantastic deal, like 26 bucks each.

The one I have has been a daily driver for 1.5 years at least (since I won it.)

I do recommend this mod. Mine is beat up a bit but still going strong and vaping great.
