I'm having a lot of issues with this device. It seems to behave quite random. It often will continue to fire after releasing the fire button. Sometimes the screen stays on instead of timing out. It will also show the low battery symbol but still fires and will sometimes go back to showing actual charge. I'm curious if anyone else is having these issues and if you have found a way to fix them. The thing that bothers me most is how unpredictable it is. The thing really seems to have a mind of it's own.

my gf's 100 has a slightly sticky fire button, pressed just right it can stick in. no idea on the screen issue. the low battery thing isn't much of an issue though, it's just showing the momentary load on the batteries, this happens on many mods, and all the isticks I own. the battery meter can be reset by hitting the fire button. sometimes it'll stay showing the low battery blinking for a minute and than come back.

my 100 works great, if the screen thing bothers you I would suggest sending it back for replacement.

Mine has run pretty flawlessly so far, and I've yet to see any real sign of people reporting significant issues with it, so I'd say chances are pretty good you've just got a bad device. Or, you've had it for a while and have been running it hard and it's a $30 mod so it's just had its time.

If it's not under warranty, there's always a possibility that it's a relatively simple fix like a single wire that needs resoldering or something, but you'd have to get some input from someone with actual modding experience for a gameplan about that.

Maybe it has something to do with your previous fix?

"I tried to use some button top efest imr 18650 and it pushed the positive contact inside the mod. I was able to get it back out and I had to remove the button tops off the batteries to get them to work."

That's where I think the majority of my problems have come from. It's no longer covered so I think I'll dig inside and see if something is out of place.

Eleaf has a reputation for shoddy workmanship with the iStick products. At the very least their quality control and testing hasn't caught the assembly line issues. I went through two iStick 50W mods last June and finally got the vendor to trade me over to the Innokin Coolfire 4 after the second replacement also lost its display. I had one or two occasions where the 50W continued to fire after I released the button.

I'd like to buy the 100W iStick, but it seems that the same old issues are surfacing on that one, too. Make it work as advertised and I'll be interested again. I really like the dual battery mods and would buy again if my confidence was restored.
