Eleaf iStick 30 watt

I just brought me a eleaf istick 30 watt and will be using a Mini Kanger Protank 3 tank with it with a 1.8 coil....since this iStick can change your watts what would be the best watt set up to use ...I diy my own liquid and its 24 nic level liquid I make. Right now I use a Mini Kanger Protank 3 with a ego battery which I have been told is about 3.3 watts. Also would I have to make a lower nic liquid for Istick setup or not...thank you.

A non twist ego at 3.7v, using a 1.8Ω coil = 7.6 watts
A twist style ego (3.2v to 4.8v), using a 1.8Ω coil = between 5.7 to 12.8 watts

Use this as a guide for where to set your wattage. Start low and slowly increase until you find your sweet spot.

You should not have to change your nic level.

On a coil like that I do anywhere from 14-17w.

This is quite a personal style thing and it really comes down to how you like your vapour, bearing safety in mind of course.

My own preference is to run a 1.8 ohm coil at 3.7 volts/ around 6-7 watts; the usual advice is to start on the low side and work up to your own sweet spot.

Thanks for input from everyone.....I decided to finally take the step and get a bigger type watt control setup..this is my first one....as I said I use the non adjustable ego stick batteries for few months now. I just love the Mini tank set up and my mini tank would work well with the istick....I did get the adapter for the threads. I just couldn't see getting a different type of tank and then have to get different coils when I have a good supply of coils for the mini tank I have already....but I did buy a new mini tank too....so now I can start to try another flavor in other tank then.

Well I got my new Istick today and I just love it.....its wonderful.....running at 10W and its better then using those stick batteries I was using ....

I actually like the draw better on the ET-S than on the nautilus, flavor is a bit on he weak side but not too bad

Yup. I put my menthols in them, perfect for tootling first thing in the morning with the coffee. I recently got a blackberry/menthol blend that darned near killed me in my Subtank, but in the ET-S it's perfect.

I just got my istick 50w yesterday. I have an Ijust2 kit coming as well but for now am using the small m14 tank that came with my ego stick battery. I'm glad they included the ego adapter. 12 watts is just right for now. I have .8 ohm coils. But what a step up. I know how you feel.
