Eleaf itaste burnt taste.

I just got my eleaf and my fluid has a burnt taste to it. I have tried 2 different protank mini 3's on the lowest power setting I can get 6.9 w 3.0 v. Both tanks are using 1.2 ohm duel coils. Would a higher own coil help this of is this just the wrong type of tank for this mod?

The Eleaf fires about 1.0watt higher than it shows I believe. Crank it all the way down to start?

I'm running a 3.0 ohm carto on mine and have a lot of breathing room.

( Itaste is an Innokin product BTW)

I use 1.8ohms in my naught mini and made the worse mistake of my life cranking the eleaf to 15w. talk about burnt dry hit. I will never go that high again in my life. On a brand new coil I will let it soak for about 10-15 min and I fire it at around 5w. I very rarely get to 7.5watts... So take that info with a grain of salt. Others may have different opinions

6.9 is the lowest the w will go to.

I think you mean 1 Volt higher - on the low settings.

Yes it will. For stock coils on regulated devices I like at least 2ohm and usually 2.4.

I think its a bad coil/ poor wicking coil or maybe even your juice is too thick i had a similar problem with my nautilus mini when i first got it. After changing the coil for a 4th time i was really going to give up on it but i didnt have the problen and more. So i even started cranking it up slowly while i chain vaped it and still no problems. I can chain vape it at 15 watts with no problem other than having to refill.
