Got my first eleaf Lemo 2 tank today, have had the earlier model for a while and yeah, well, it needed improvement. Ok I unboxed it very good plenty of spares etc., but do you think I could get the critter apart to get at the deck?
No way Hose! No matter what I tried it would not unscrew or budge. Ok I know how to use the earlier version. Should be the same right?
I log on to YouTube and yes I am doing everything right. Hmmmm.....Ok I go and get a set of multi grips and with concerted effort the critter finally parts. Yippie!
Ok it had a coil already installed and wicked. I washed the remainder of the tank, Primed the coil which read 0.5 ohm on the meter. Primed the coil, and I did like the top side fill feature although one needs a syringe or a needle nose bottle and do it slowly.
At 15W it was hopeless, I did not want to crank it up too much until the coil settled, persevering I finally brought it up to 25W using 50/50 PG/VG home brew. I went ok for an hour, then that horrid burnt taste.
Huh? Think I, surely I cannot have burnt the wick already? Ok I pull it apart, this time it was much easier, (those chieesers must have used a vice to assemble it) Yep the wick was burnt black....After a few choice words under my breath,
won't mention them here, ladies read these forums; I rewicked it with good quality ... cotton. No Probs.
My recommendation if you do buy one of these and they are heaps better to build and refill than my Kafuns then as soon as you get it and clean it out, trash the supplied with as it is rubbish.
I am now enjoying it at 30W with origional coil and a new wick. The cloud is cool, can't wait to try the Ni200 coil in it on my TC mods.
