I've heard that the eLeaf MELO coils fit on the Aspire Atlantis tank? Is this true? If it is that's awesome because a pack of 5 MELO coils are like $11. Also is it confirmed that the MELO coils are organic cotton and not ceramic/fiberglass?

There is review of the melo around somewhere that states explicitly that they fit. I hope so as I have some on order for my atlantis!! As for the OC issue,
I think the melo coils use it but, significantly, not the controversial 'ceramic paper' that the atlantis coils have (in addition to the OC that they also have!).

I'll post something more when I have them and have given them a try!

It is true that they are much cheaper. Mine cost £8.99 in UK. Excellent if they work ok!!

Not sure I trust a video review... I watched that same video, but they didn't use them in an Atlantis on the video! I want to make sure they work before ordering, have you received and tested yours yet?

Ok, got the melos and dumped one in the atlantis (with my brand new 5ml tank upgrade). The melo heads do indeed fit nicely and work very well indeed. Possibly not as much vapour as the stock coils but very good nonetheless. Using 80/20 vg/pg and no issues with juice flow etc. Recommended and certainly a lot cheaper!

I just checked sweet-vapes and yeah, they claim they're compatible with the Atlantis. I'm ordering some and getting rid of my Aspire coils if all goes well. If for some reason they don't work I'd think the site would issue a refund for false information.

Put a melo in my Atlantis tank, and things went better from my opinion. Vapor not as thick as before, but just a slight difference. But the flavor is like 10-20% more than the original. I will now use Melo coil for my atlantis :)

Thanks to all 3 of you! I guess I have no option but to try myself now that it is confirmed that they do work!

Your welcome, brother.
I need to add a thing. The fire spit back is still there with the Melo. So, there's a thing that is not fixed. My Atlantis coil fire-spitting a lot, and this Melo also do that. But, hey, Melo 30% cheaper, and more flavor :D

Today is my day 2 with Melo, and yesterday night I have a serious chain vaping for 90 minutes with friends ( 6 ml on 90 minutes, for me it's chain vaping. Usually I use 6 ml for all day vape ).

I only get spit back with certain juices (usually thinner juices under 70%VG) and I try and avoid those or turn up the wattage. But I vape 80%VG- 95% of the time and get very little spit back.

What VG/PG are you vaping.

I got a pack of Melo coils and wrote my opinions on it in my thread in the clearomizer forum.

In short: Same threads, same o-ring, four juice holes are lower so the tank can run lower on liquid, inner coil is smaller in diameter with tighter wraps, more cotton inside so it absorbs more liquid. To me it seems to produce more vapor than the Aspire coils.

Very happy with the Melos in the Atlantis so far.

What VG/PG are you vaping.

I run Liqua Cola, I dont really know what PGVG level are theirs.
Last night, after the Atlantis with Melo coil sitting for more than 6 hrs unvaped, the spitback was amazing. With 7watts, It's like a hot needle shooting at your tongue. This never happened with Atlantis coils previously.
I could actually saw the shooting-popping liquid shooting out from my drip tip with above 15watts power. That's a bit scary.

If you vape it for about 30 minutes, then the spitting will much reduced, and the popping is still there, but without too many violence.

I wonder if anyone have the same incident ?

On 2nd thought I'll have to find a local shop that sells the Melo and I'll buy just one coil to check this for myself. But spit back at only 7-15watts isn't good!

You were vaping this same Liqua Cola using the stock Atlantis coils and had no issues, right? Or is this a different juice than what you were using with the Aspire coils?

Does it work the other way around? Not that there would be a practical use, just out of curiosity.

FYI - I don't understand your question and I'm an American, so I doubt that a member from Jakarta will!

Does what work the other way around? Try using the reply with Quote as we don't even know which comment you are posting about? Post #1, post #17, or???
