There are a few problems with regard to the istick's circuitry (it measures mean not RMS). It is not capable of down regulating power (it is widely inaccurate, especially at lower voltages). As long as you're aware of it and don't need a battery that can output voltages between 3v and 4.2 volts, you may like it. It does go up to 20 watts (but only using a 1.1 ohm coil).

I run my nautilus (with the new BVC's) on the istick without getting dry hits.

If you are interested in seeing more about what is really going on with the iStick see a great post by fellow ECF member Peraspera: Wattage Ranges for Specific Ohm Builds Using iStick Specs

Small, light, highly portable and easy to use -- plus it packs a punch of power and lasts a long time between charges.

What's not to like? Weak 510 threads, but Eleaf released the Bending Adapter which gives you a spring-loaded 510 connection for around $5.

It is over-powered, but that is actually a plus, since you are not having to run higher "normal" volts/wattage, you save on battery life. And running a 1.2 ohm single coil, you can get a full 2 days on a single charge. And when you do charge it, it charges quickly. I just charge it while I sleep, but it usually doesn't take longer than a few hours to charge.

I own 2 now, and purchased Bending Adapters for each. And when it's in my pocket while I'm at work, I barely know it's there, unlike most other mods than are heavier and bulkier.

I would, however, recommend the use of rebuildable tank atomizers or the Aspire nautilus series that wick fast enough for the powerhouse known as the iStick.

I agree with most of the above statements. Mine is horrendous under a certain voltage. Running a 1.6ohm BVC Mini Nautilus on mine and found that a lot of my current juices, especially some Space Jam 18mg hits way too hard even on the lowest settings. I had to lower my nic in order to enjoy vaping with this setup. I don't have any threading issues so far. Battery life is great. Smaller than a business card too. Can't wait to see what v2 has in store.

I bought one of these for my Dad who isnt the most tech savvy person in the world. Ended up trying it out for an evening in place of the Provari Ive been using for 2+ years.

I have to say I'm impressed. Great ergonomics. Long battery life.

Yes, its a bit overpowered at low voltage but thats easily adjustable and not much of a concern for those of who vape for flavor instead of mad clouds/high watts.

It's a fun mod, but I would never recommend it to a new vaper--or as a primary device to anyone.

If you want something similar but much more accurate and reliable, consider the new MVP 20 (not MVP 2). It has a spring-loaded 510 connection and step down (it can actually fire under 4.2v ;))--the two things that the iStick doesn't have. And it comes with a 20 watt DNA chipset and 2,600 mAh capacity. It's not as cute as the iStick--but it's a much better battery: if you want 3.7v, you get 3.7v--not 4.7. :D

I just got mine today, and so far I'm in love. The size, form, and weight is absolutely perfect in my hand, and for me (using with the Nautilus Mini -- I haven't tried any other tanks on it yet) it actually feels like better performance than my Provari Mini, my Semovar or my MVP2. I'm currently vaping with a new 1.6 BVC coil at 3.8 V / 9 W with my usual low-nic liquid (3mg), and it's excellent. I must see what time brings, but first day experience is that it's definitely hitting my personal happy space vapewise.

I've really, really been wanting a very small, sleek box style battery without spending a pile (I've been coveting a Vaporshark RDNA, but it's ~200 Euros here), so it's my personal Xmas vape miracle... again, so far!

I got mine last night, usps actually delivered priority mail on Sunday...what a shock. So far the looks and size are great, but I do feel it is a bit overpowered. I have no desire for high voltage and usually use only about 7/9 w. On this it seems a bit higher and does work better with my kayfun. For the protank I have it set at 3.3v and it works ok any higher and my juice starts tasting a bit off. I do think these little box mods are the wave of the future but need a bit more fine tuning. They are perfect for carrying in a purse for out and about.
