So, I did a search for vapor king (as I had received one as a gift from my inlaw, and I wanted to get some extra carts) I clicked on the link, and it took me to electronic cigarettes inc. dot com.
I was new to vaping, and really did not know what I needed, but I was experimenting with cart mods for my 510, so I ordered 50 of them.
So, my package came about 3.5 weeks after I ordered it. I called about 2 weeks in, they apologized, and it still took nearly 2 more weeks to receive my order. Not an emergency, fortunately, as I had carts I could use.
When my order arrived, I realized I had ordered 250 carts by mistake, so I called the company, and they told me how to print a return slip. (I thought it seemed a little expensive for only plastic pieces )I filled it out, and paid somewhere around $10 to ship it.
In the package I included my receipt, and a hand written note saying I would gladly take merchandise in trade of the return, and to just call my cell phone once they received it.
Well, a week after I sent it, I was nosing around on their site, bummed they had not called yet, and realized at that moment that $50 was about the going price for 50 of these carts, ok may be a little high, but not going to break the bank.
So, what had happened, is their order filler accidentally packed 4 extra boxes of 50, to the tune of about $200 retail loss for this vendor, when I actually only spent about $60 including shipping. So, I call them, and a drippy gal answers the phone, and asked what addy I sent it to, and I told her it was their po box.
I also explained that they had mistakenly sent them to me, and I returned them, and that I would appreciate a box of cartomizers, or something like that to reimburse me for the shipping. She said no problem they would call when they got the package.
Ok, so 5 more days have gone by, and no call from them. I save them $200 and they cant even call and say thank you, let alone sent me something to reimburse me for the shipping.
They made a mistake for shipping them to me. I made the mistake for shipping them back, not realizing I had not been charged for them. Now I have a sour taste, knowing that I could have kept them. Yes, that would have been dishonest, but would have made great PIF gifts, but instead the retailer cannot even say thank you.
Thoughts?
