I'd been searching for a 5 volt passthrough, for about a week and it seemed that most of the vendors that carried them were out of stock. I found them at electronicstix and noticed that they were on sale for $10.00. I figured heck, I'll get two of them at that price. Ordered them on tuesday, the 23rd and received them today on Saturday, the 27th. That's pretty fast shipping, from Ogden, Utah to Northern Kentucky.
I tried one of the 5 volt passthroughs and it works great. Much better throat hit than I ever got from my ego.
It tends to get hot quickly, with a 510 atty, but it's perfect with an ego mega atty. If anyone wants to give 5 volt pvs a try, these seem to be the way to go.

They now have them on sale for $8.25. I should have waited a few days.

Funny, I'm watching AllAboutTheVapor's review of this passthrough on YouTube right now! I just ordered another 5v PT from another supplier, or I'd order this one.

I heard that the wire can get twisted, where it comes out of the passthrough from use and short out. I saw where someone looped theirs and taped it to the PT body. I did that, but used small wire ties, instead of tape. Seems to work well.
