Another day, another priority mail shipment in the mailbox!

Got my Elegant Easy from Cigeasy today. I was pleasantly surprised with the size. Much shorter than I expected. Only 4.25" long with gold label carto attached, 1/2" diameter. Feels great in my hand. Well-placed manual button with LED.

Cone over the Cigeasy Gold Label cart is a tight fit, and reduces the air intake, making a harder draw, but great vapor and TH. Don't know about battery life yet, as I have only had it a number of hours. Other ECF reviews on this model have boasted of 8 hours or better on the 750mah battery, so hopefully I am done sweating battery life or carrying PCC's and such.

Supposedly, this PV will take all 808 cartos, but I noted my 808's from V2 will not vape from the EE. The post (battery connection) appears to be a bit short. I have seen the videos on the post adjustments to both cartos and batterys, and tried (very gently) to lift the post on the cartos. In the end, I could not lift them enough. I also lifted the post on the EE batt as well, but there is not enough adjustment to make the connection. The prefilled gold label cartos that came with the kit worked fine, except one, and I was able to lift the post on that one to make it work.

So, long story short... Nice look, size, and feel. Good, but tight vape. But if you have a whack of cheap 808 cartos, you may be disappointed if they don't wind up working on this PV. Make sure you get some gold labels with your order.

Perhaps another Elegant Easy user can suggest other choices of premium cartos that have longer posts, and may require less adjustments.

Cheers,

Otto

This mimics my experience with the PigCig (similar 808 fat battery at 650mAh rather than 750mAh). My V2 and V4L carts wouldn't work. When I contacted LeCig (sellers of the PigCig), they knew of the problem and suggested that they were working on an adapter.

If you look at the end of the EE, is it slotted? With the PigCig, the battery end is slotted and the mega cartos that LeCig sells (and that work great on the PigCig) have a flat end on the carto. "Regular" 808 batteries cartos from (V2, V4L, and others) have a flat battery end and a slot on the carto. V4L cartos on the PigCig didn't seem to get any battery connection at all, while LeCig mega cartos on a V4L battery had no airflow. To me, that points directly to the location of the slot, battery end or carto end.

If you're up for it, you might try a 901->808 adapter and see if that helps (901 and 808 are thread-compatible but 901 batteries require an adapter to use 808 cartos because they have no airflow -- the airflow on a 901 is in the atomizer, not the battery connection). I never bothered to get such an adapter because I've moved on. Right now I'm using my eGo-T 100% with a Reo Mini on the way. I still have the PigCigs and I'll occasionally break one out to vape some of my darker flavors that don't work well in the tank system, but I also have a good number of LeCig mega cartos so I don't care if my old V4L cartos don't work.

i use the elegant with cool carts from vapor for life. have no problems.
the cool carts have good quality control and the blanks i refill over and over for about three days before they are spent.
you could probably wait for a special. vapor for life seems to have some sort of discount every week or so.
i am extremely satisfied with my elegant. long battery life on a charge and i always have on being charged while chain vaping. the kit of two and battery charger for seventy bucks is quite a good buy, compared with the price of analogs nowadays.
