Hi Everybody,

I started vaping a little over 15 weeks ago using the starter kit I ordered from Frank at Cig Easy. In retrospect I feel pretty lucky because I didn’t have to do all the field research by buying and trying all the different models of e-cigs out there. When I don’t know what I’m doing … I don’t even have enough information to ask a stupid question. Thankfully I stumbled upon this e-cig forum. After reading DonDaBoomVape’s 6-part The Wonderful World of vaping I knew enough to know what I didn’t want.

I didn’t want a hassle. I didn’t want to drip anything … I didn’t want to recharge a battery every hour … I didn’t want a new hobby … I didn’t want to carry around a support system in order to quit smoking tobacco and begin vaping. I wanted a seamless transition from tobacco. I knew if it was a complicated process … it probably wouldn’t work out. Then I found a review by LibertyRevolution called, “Cig Easy - The only place you need to go!!!”

That’s what I was looking for. I ordered the starter kit and 2 days later I was vaping exclusively. Over the last 15 weeks I’ve tried 2 cigarettes. Not because I craved a cigarette … I just wanted to compare it to vaping. And there is no comparison. I have become used to flavor instead of smoke and there’s no going back. The Easy Cig gave me the throat hit, vapor, flavor, and satisfaction I needed to instantly quit cigarettes. No hassles. Just unscrew the used up cart, screw on a new one, and proceed. Life Is Good.

Of course there is a learning curve when trying anything new. I learned that my USB hub (unpowered) blows up USB battery chargers. (Thankfully I had a pass-thru to see me through until I got some new chargers.) I learned that overfilled cartomizers drip juice into an automatic battery and kill it. On the brighter side … I learned the cartomizer cap filling method works best for me. I learned that I don’t have to go crazy on a flight from Seattle to New York. And I really like the tobacco flavors 555, RY4, Camel, Marlboro, and Flue Cured. The non-tobacco flavors are OK too. Except blueberry. That one is just plain weird.

So I’m a pretty happy guy. I’ve got KR808D-1 batteries, a couple of chargers, a bunch of cartomizers, and bottles of my favorite juices … I’m all set. Nothing’s broke so I don’t have to fix anything. And then …

I’ve read about different mods and passed on all of them. A few were intriguing but I didn’t want to leave the simplicity of a two-piece system or spend a lot of money. I was a contented KR808D-1 guy. Until last Friday … Frank at Cig Easy sent me something to try out.

The Elegant Easy.

And it is.

It’s shorter than my batteries (4 1/8 inches long with a cart), uses my KR8 carts, weighs in at 1-1/4 ounces, and lasts over 12 hours of heavy vaping. 12 hours! I don’t know anything about voltages etc. so I won’t pretend to know what 750 mah means. All I know is the manual button glows blue when pressed and the Elegant Easy does the job. Stays cool, produces clouds of great tasting vapor, and lasts for 12 hours.

If anyone were to ask my how to improve on the KR808D-1 I’d respond, “Make the battery last longer and shorten the recharge time.” The Elegant Easy not only lasts me all day but it’s recharged and ready to go in under 2 hours.

The look of the Elegant Easy is just that: Elegant. I’m using the Pearlized Gold style and as soon as I can … I’ll get the black. I’m not that good when it comes to descriptions so it’s best if you click on over to Cig Easy and check it out. I’ll be taking some pictures of The Elegant in the next day or so and I’ll post them on my SuperBeans Quitting page.

This is the first e-cig I’ve seen where function and style have come together in an exceptional product. It looks as good as it performs … And it performs great!

I didn’t think it was possible but vaping just got easier.

Regards,

Bob Alexander

Glad my review was helpful to you. I try to be helpful.

I am still using an 808. So are a bunch more people I know that used to be smokers. Once I loaned them my easycig, and they saw how well it worked, and how easy to use it was, they ended up buying there own.

I did end up making a few boxmods for those times when I needed extra long battery life. They work great, just everyone thinks you have a detonator in your hand..

I keep looking at the elegant, it could replace my boxmods, but haven't pulled the trigger on buying one yet.

That's been my experience too. Every smoker I know (except for one really stubborn person) that I've loaned my Easy Cigs to ... switched. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed. And they all had similar backgrounds re: quitting tobacco I have. Patches, Gum, Hypnosis and ... nothing worked. Enter the E-Cig and quitting was possible that day or within a week.

As I've said many times over the last 15 weeks, "As far as I'm concerned the greatest inventions in the history of mankind are Fire, The Wheel, Disposable Diapers, and E-Cigarettes. "

100% agreement Bob :) Great review.

I started with a Cigeasy kit (2 manual KR808D-1 regular batteries, 1 usb charger, 10ml of Camel-Desert Ship, 5 prefilled cartos of Marlboro-USA Mix) and I haven't looked at an analog since. That was 76 days ago.

I picked up a KR808D-1 Wetbox along the way, tried a few 'premium' cartos from other resellers, and experimented with some 'premium' liquid, but found that I liked my Cigeasy batteries the best and I'm hooked on their Caramel Mocha and Chocolate Strawberry liquid. The only drawback was that the batteries were 280mah, I was going through about 3 of them every two days... and they take a while to fully charge.

Then I saw that Frank had added the Elegant so I ordered a mini kit and absolutely love it. It lasts me a day and a half before I need to recharge and charges very quickly.

I still keep a spare regular battery with me 'just in case' but my Elegant goes with me wherever I go.

On top of that you really can't beat the price for Cigeasy's Gold Label cartos. About a dollar cheaper than comparable cartos and the shipping is about a dollar cheaper as well.

I use kr808 cartos on my mods all the time. I have several with 901 connecters. I use a little adapter to get the air draw. I use a different adapter on my 510 models to use the kr808. The Elegant is the same thing as the Riva (I have a Riva) with a 808/901 connecter. They're nice little PVs.
You can't really use the kr808 cartos at 6 volts though. the resistance is too low and the juice burns (in my experience) but I've found I can run the 510 cartomizers at 6 volts just fine. I'm vaping a 510 carto and chocolate-menthol juice at 6 volts with my coffee right now and it's delicious!

Or you could just buy a Riva 901 for 30 bux from Liberty Flights and have practically the same thing.... i did exactly that, and then i got a 99 cent 901-808 adapter from Good Prophets just to make sure every single type of 808 carto i got worked 100%. My step dad liked it so much i gave it to him.

Hi Everyone, I went on this site yesterday. I need to purchase a manual due to my TMJ. Can anyone here tell me what the kits come with...vg or pg. I contacted support yesterday but haven't heard anything back yet. I am a vg user but the cigeasy site isn't clear about whether you get vg carts with the kits or the e-juice...Thanks!
