Just ordered one of the Ego\Kanger Carto kits with some juice and flavors. Hopefully they're good tasting and the stuff gets here by the weekend.
Can't beat the price for that kit really.
I'm pretty new to vaping and currently use a bloog, but can't stand the low voltage weenie vapes after 1hr....this will hopefully take care of that problem. Plus the cartos look to be the same if not better than the Bloog\Volt versions.
Anyone know what the PG\VG ratio is on the Elektra base? I couldn't find it listed anywhere on that site.

If its the same as Juicy Clear (sister company), it's 73% PG and 27% VG. Bizarre ratio, but I like it.
Well, i was looking forward to placing an order with them, but seeing Interac transfers were the only payment option, and my bank not supporting that option, i decided on ordering elsewhere.
I really do hope they decide to open up different options for payment sometime soon.

Might be time for you guys to switch banks. Almost all of the major banks in this country support email money transfers these days. BMO, Scotia, TD, RBC, CIBC, etc...etc.
Where do you live in Ottawa? I could order it for you and you pay me cash when you come pick it up?

What bank is that may I ask . Is it a credit union by chance because I think that all the major banks are supporting it . I know that CIBC and BMO support it . I found this list of backs and credit unions that are supporting it

I just placed a small order with them. Some of the Kanger cartos, and a few flavours (Root Beer for the wife, and menthol and Tidewater tobacco for my brother-in-law and some for me to try out and review). I don't mind paying EMT personally; I usually do that with Happy Vaper. But I'll see how it goes. Hopefully the flavours are nice, and the cartos are supposed to be good performers.
That might be an idea later on, when i decide on getting more stuff. I already placed an order somewhere else. I'll keep you in mind.
I'm with Desjardins Credit Union. Already tried calling to see what they could do to help ... Notta, Nothing, Zilch. I wont be switching though as all my accounts, insurance, mortgage, etc. is with them. Too much hassle.
Already did. They wont accept anything but Interac. I offered to send to a personal Paypal account or even a personal cheque.
I've had the same problem... my credit union(Cambrian in MB), is one of the few not on the Interac website's 'participating financial institutions' list. I emailed Cambrian, and their reply said it was in the works, to be implemented early next year(2012).
Haven't had a problem ordering yet, just asked the vendors i've used if they accept any other payment, and they were very accommodating.
Credit Cards and PayPal won't facilitate payments for goods not authorized for sale in Canada. That's why interac is so common up here for ecig orders.

Ordered from Elektra on the 3rd at 1 AM, arrived on the 6th at 11AM... can't beat that
Puffing now - first impressions:
Nice black rubbery coating, not paint
All parts interchange with genuine EGO-T, including the cone.
I don't yet know if the charger is 100% compatible, but I'm guessing it is, it looks absolutely identical to mine.
The LCD is neat. It has a 5 segment bar graph for battery.
Battery cut-off is 10 seconds, blue lighted button
The batteries ARE longer than my 900 and 1000 mah batteries, maybe 15mm
Cartos from hold a CRAPLOAD of juice, wow... 30+
First couple hours: Hot and thick vape. Not burnt (100%PG)
Included tank attys : I've seen/used these before, nothing wrong with em, 2.2 ohms
tanks : clear type with silicone plug
Can anybody tell me how long these cartos last, how many refills you get out of them?
I have put 8 ml and on 3rd day on one, so far so good. wife has put the same amount through the one she is using as well.
Hers is the Timmies DD from JC and mine is DIY monster flavor from Elektra. Used 4 drops flavoring to 5ml juice which is just right for me.
Juice ratio is 70/30 PG/VG
