I loved Newports! I came to Maui with a carton and ended up switching down to Marlboro Lights Menthol.

Fast forward now almost 5 YEARS nicotine free.

Of course when I chose my first e-cig I went with menthol. Blu Menthol and Green Smoke sent me some Full-Flavor, Light, and Menthol cartomizers, of which I prefer the menthol but the Full-Flavor have a great throat hit. I have yet to try the Lights (I'm assuming here from the online description) from my original delivery.
I ordered the Pro Kit from Green Smoke and got more batteries and a 5-pack of Menthol Cartomizers and their Variety Pack, which includes Vanilla, Chocolate, Mocha, Whiskey (I'm guessing here), and Menthol.

Within a week of trying the Green Smoke, I got the itastevv3 and a bunch of tanks and a bunch of juice, ranging from fruity to Coffee to yes, Menthol.

I want (really want) to enjoy the fruity, complex flavors, that come from all the DIY juice making and what all.

But what I found I did yesterday was suck on my menthol tank ALL DAY.

I know I've got vaper's tongue. And I realized that I really missed nicotine. If I could huff the nicotine out of a box of Menthol analogs I would.

I'm a week off analogs, so still very new.... but...

I use N-Port from my local B&M (esvape) 80% of the day in my nautilus then I have some butterscotch (insert whatever you want here instead) in a ProTank2 for a little flavor once in a while... Point being, while getting off the smoke, I'm sticking to something in the ballpark of what I smoked to make it easy on myself...

For me there is no one flavor, but that means nothing. I, like life, enjoy the variety. But once again that means nothing. What suite me, might not be right for you. The most important things is that you are off the cancer sticks.

When I decided to part ways with tobacco, I switched to different brands, some that I didn't like and used a count down timer untill when I could have my next coffin nail. Started at every 15 minutes, went up 15 minutes each week. When I got to two hours between smokes, I started to vape with 24mg/ml of nic With every new juice order I got lower nic and eventually starting mixing my own and in several months the nic minkey was off my back.

The only thing I can tell you about finding the right flavor is to keep trying until you find it. Hey, look Jack, (as one of my favorite bearded Duck Dynasty crew member says) you are beginning an adventure that only you can decide when and if it ends. The most important things are staying off the analog and enjoying yourself. For myself, I started mixing my own blend, using vendor supplied concentrated flavors and some I created myself...but that is me. This is a new hobby, and for me I'm going to enjoy it...it's not a job...it's an adventure.

But whoa is me, I now have another terrible habit...a new gorilla has leaped on my back...

The biggest thing that got me off cigarettes wasn't actually even a flavor...

Or a nicotine strength.

It was deciding I was a vaper and not a smoker.

It may sound silly, but there is a huge distinction.

If you're a smoker who is trying to quit... Every cigarette smoked is a failure.

If you're a vaper, why would you even bother smoking?

I went from a half a pack a day to 3.... within a couple weeks down to none, just pure vape :) I feel that messing with my APV and searching for the right flavor was part of the fun. I didnt enjoy the complexity at first, it was a lot more than just "light me and inhale" which I was very used to. Now I'm absolutely hooked on Mewlew's Magic blend from VCV, and it brings a light of enjoyment to my eyes everytime its chocolate delight hits my tongue... the taste of a kamel red however... bleh!

If I'm not in the mood for sweet in the morning. I usually hit up one of my coffee vapes that's a little more earthy and just hits the spot you know? You might find you even like some savory vapes. I really like bakery/cinnamon and dessert vapes and avoid candy fruity vapes. I've found some good dessert vapes I love and my favorite vendors are Ahlusion, Carpe Diem Vapor, and AiV. I need depth of flavor and complexity for my taste buds to stay interested. CDV tends to be an ADV company that isn't too sweet. A few of their flavors are bold so avoid those in the morning.

If you like bakery/cinn/dessert types I would recommend:
Carpe Diem Vapor's Slevin, Booberry Creamed Pie or Strawberry NomNom
AiV has a multitude of flavors. I like 15 foot falls

I have a friend that's a career smoker who continues to waffle between smoking and vaping. The other day we were outside, and she was holding a cigarette in her right hand, and one of her rigs in the left. [emoji52] REALLY?! I wanted to smack the stuffin' outta her.
There is nobody with a more addictive personality than me, and I was able to give up cigs for vaping, and what's more, it was easy. Why can't she?

In regard to your ADV question, check out Spoonlicker v2 from ITCvapes.com.
Best juice I've ever tasted. But don't just take my word for it, there's an entire thread of devotees on the E-liquid discussion part of the forum that are singing the praises of ITC. All of their products are positively sublime. [emoji3]

I have 2 ADVs I love. One is Chocolate, the other is Dragon's Blood. I'm like you EBates....I too have several other tanks with various flavors. I usually enjoy those at night for an after dinner treat.

I am extremely picky and tire of juices easily (with the exception of nets.) But Dragon's Blood is exceptional. I wanted to be able to DIY my ADV like I do my nets but I don't see me topping Dragons Blood.

I have several that I am happy to vape all day. and a few more that are close to all day vapes.

Prophets Drunken Cheesecake
Space Cruise
Storm Cruise
Drunken Jungle

All are ADV's for me

the other ones are
Caribbean Cruise
Passion Cruise
Dance with Miami
Tropical Cruise
and last Watermelon(the only one from a different company)

All but the last one are from Bionic Vapor
E-Juice – Bionic Vapor

JC has two tobacco flavors that are both good, Countryside and Ground Breaking. I just got to the point I don't want the tabocco flavor.

I didn't find my all day vape until I started making my own juice. I came up with a flavor that worked for me, and it's all I vape. I smoked Marlboro 100's until they got too pricey, then switched to 305 100's, which were close. Then on July 2nd of 2013 I had my very first vape, and as soon as I had something that would get me through the day the cigs were history.

I did spend quite a bit of money trying to find a juice that was close to the Marlboro flavor, but I never did find it in a B&M or online. So I went the DIY route, and in a week I had my all day vape. It's better than Marlboros, and everyone I'd let try it likes it.

I switch around with flavors from many different merchants all the time. I currently have 3 RDAs dripped with Freckled Lemonade, Blue Moo, and Peach Melba.
The first two are from mtbakervapor and the last from vaporchef. They are all great!
Every time I turn around, someone on the forum is mentioning Blue Moo.
So that tears it...next order from MBV will include Blue Moo, so help me. [emoji39]
