Empire showed up... The BEST mod I've tried!

Got my Empire in from EmpireMods today. A friend of mine got one at VapeFest and was nice enough to let me play with it. Immediately I was impressed with the build quality and function. I knew I wanted one as soon as they were available to the masses. They went on sale Monday and I ordered one as soon as I could get to my computer. If you are into tube mods and don't care about VV this is the mod for you! Im not a HV vapor fan at all so running at 3.7v with the option still of 6v was more than enough for me. The adjustable battery chamber is amazing. Im using a tiny 18350 battery initially and with this very small battery the mod is also super tiny. Overall size with the small battery is smaller than a Reo Mini! With an 18650 battery the mod is a normal tube mod size. No dealing with battery chamber adapters or extra parts either. The battery tube just telescopes. Absolutely brilliant! I had never tried a 901 atty before but this mod comes with a LR 901 and drip shield. The 901 is awesome! Best flavor and vapor production Ive seen and I've used a lot of 510 stuff. If you're in the market for a tube mod get this one!!! (if you can find one...lol)

I like the different color options it's available in, but other than that, I personally do not like it a bit. The 18650 extension makes it look really weird.

The bottom button is a big turn off for me.

But hey, vaping is all about personal preference! I'm glad you like it. I know there are many people that like this mod; not me.

I had issues with the bottom button myself but it really is easy to use. I wanted a small mod that traveled well and this fits the bill perfectly. I can vape all day on an 18350 900mah battery. The 901 atty is blowing me away. Best flavor and vapor I've experienced.

I just wish they offered it in 510. I like the look alot, but I already have so many 510 atties and cartos so I don't want to start getting 901s also.

The bottom button is a bit plus to me. I love my Megolodon and its the same basic configuration. I guess we'll see if its as good when its in my hands.

It comes with a 510 adapter included in the price. You can certainly use any of the 510 stuff you already have. You might change your mind when you try the included 901 though...

Cool, that's good to know. I didn't think that drip shield would fit over an adapter.

Now I just need to sell a couple of my current PVs to justify buying another lol.

I can't get this thing to leak. Tried dripping 10 drops a few times and no leaking still. Anybody who is a dripper knows 10 drops would be a disaster in any atty...

For those that hesitate regarding the 901. If you've never tried it, you probably should especially if you didn't like HV with a 510. I didn't care for LR 510s and a 4.5 ohm 510 with the voltage kicked up was just okay. I believe it was ukeman that suggested I try a 901. So, I threw in a couple 2.5 ohm 901s and an adapter with my almost weekly order from madvapes. I found they fixed the problems I had with the 510s and preserved the good stuff.

+1 on a 901 and if you find that to light and a 510 to much a nice balance is a 308...same threading as a 510 but the flavor and th are both there but not as harsh and washed out as the 510...........and the empire looks great but I'm stuck on the vv right now and loving being able to have the right pv for ANYTHING I want to use all in one package....hooray ProVari..............

I've been messing with some dual coils (on my Empire with the 510 adapter) this week. I don't think they're super intense. About the same as some LR attys I've used. I keep flooding my dual coils but that's my fault. Trying to squeeze max juice into them. They blow out easily enough and go right back to hitting like a champ. I'll be posting a dual coil video review shortly. Been really busy lately...

Yeah hey man...lol. Thanks for turning me onto this mod. What size battery is in that pic? Seems to be between an 18650 and a 18350/CR123. I love this mod with the 18350. 900mah gets me through the whole day and makes the Empire super small and pocket friendly.
