3. madvapes 3.7v Box mod (a year old and still use it)
4. Roughstack
5. Lavatube
6. SD Keyring

After my start with eGo's my first mod was a 510-N (or was it 510-NOT). So I went back to the eGo's for a while, at least they worked. Then I got a 14650 e-power, I still have it but never use it. It just doesn't float my boat. Then came the Silver Bullet, and I finally had a mod that lived up to it's hype. I still have it a year later, and use it every day. I now have about 20 different mods, some I bought - some I built myself, ranging from all mechanical to VV/VW. Funny how I can make them all taste the same.

    i only have two mods/apvs. i don't know why, but i'm not including the rev2 as a mod/apv.
first was a vmod. second was a precise + 18500. waiting patiently for the precise strata, and an additional integrated rebuildable atomizer once they are prepared.
i think that's all i'll need...unless super t comes out with something else that's amazing. ok. maybe a p+10440, just cuz it's so small.

My first e-cig was a mod. It was an original rough stack I traded a lariat for. I don't have that one any more, but it will always be a good memory for me because that device kept me off cigarettes for over a year before I started buying other e-cigs.

Since then, I've had many mods. My favorites are in my signature.

Thanks, Six. The Empire being built in the USA was a pretty substantial factor in my choice. :)

After 510s and Egos, my first mod was a 5V AA battery-box. That was an eye-opener. My first "real" mod was a reo mini (which i regret selling), and now I use a buzz pro. Thinking about getting a silver bullet because "everyone needs a silver bullet."

Gotta keep those vampires away! Your battery box, this took regular AA batteries? Would be neat since I have rechargeable AA batteries and a charging bank and have no other use for them since I've ditched my wireless mice for Logitech G500s a while back.

    1. stick 510s
    2. prodigy (button, like all digital buttons are wonderful....till theyre not)
    3. prodigy v2 (had love/hate with that button)
    4. prodigy v3 (finally a nearly flawless button)
    5. legacy (just got it this week and oddly, 3.7v with 1.5 ohm cartos/tank is really satisfying!)

obviously, i am a loyal puresmoker fanboi. steve should be paying me, as nearly all his orders that came from albuquerque were because i pointed people there, lol. his workmanship and designs are the reference many others base on. you know, he could just forgo paying me and send me a kick for my legacy. id call that even. lol.

that sounds scary. the power draw on standard batteries would be dangerous, it seems to me. even rechargables.

Forgive me, it's late and my common sense is faulting :p
I agree, the power draw would put a significant strain on traditional batteries. Perhaps it was mitigated with fault protection circuitry and a buttload of batteries in series-parallel? Maybe a capacitor or two came into play somehow... I'm going to shut up before someone gets a bad idea.

Lol! The WMD mod, AKA the "Pipe bomb" noooooo terrible ideas! I think a guy in Florida already has a patent on that.

Wow that was bad. I should really go to bed, I'm getting delirious and a bit evil.

My first mod was a brushed aluminum Buzz. Not many of these were made. My first mechanical mod was the Prodigy V3.1.

I haven't seen the brushed aluminum, but I just looked up the Buzz and I gotta say the design on that sucker is pretty slick! I love the rough copper finish. I see they're claiming to be the first true VV mod. Is this true? I'm sure in a hundred years both the buzz and the empire will go for a nice coin at the Antique Road Show, if they're still around lol.
