I haven't seen the brushed aluminum, but I just looked up the Buzz and I gotta say the design on that sucker is pretty slick! I love the rough copper finish. I see they're claiming to be the first true VV mod. Is this true? I'm sure in a hundred years both the buzz and the empire will go for a nice coin at the Antique Road Show, if they're still around lol.

I believe they were the first and I got one but sold it in the classies. It was too hard to change voltages for me. You had to use a tiny screwdriver and find the slot in a dark hole and then needed a a special adapter cord to connect to voltmeter to read the voltage. I paid 112.00 for it plus I had to buy batteries adapter cord and a voltmeter. Now you can buy a VV that reads resistance, buttons to adjust voltage with a led to see them for 45.00. Times have changed for the better in the vaping world.:)

I agree, but in some sense I find the need for a small screwdriver and a multimeter somewhat appealing. But then again, I like to tinker :p

I'm not a tinker and like everthing to work good out of the box without any modding or adjusting. I am very glad we do have plenty of tinkers in the ecf community though because they are the ones that have pushed the envelope and are responsible for all good things we have now, otherwise we would all still be using 510 and 901's or if we wanted to go big we would get a 801.:)
Here's to Tinkers. :toast:
