End of week One

Wow, what an 8 days. I've added different juices and took an extreme liking to the Aspire nautilus tanks. 3 trips to the local vape store and many purchases. I can't even stand the smell of an analog anymore. There's a big vaping crew at my workplace and they've been supportive and now I see the mystique. That's 8 days w/o an analog..Yipee!!!!!:):laugh:

Howdy Psydoc (psy RN here) Congrats and welcome!!!

four months and a week here and we're loving it!! funny how the ciggies just taste soooo nasty and we loved 'em huh? *lol* gotta love "perception" :p

I remember laughing at the banners on here showing $ saved, yeah right, I'll be lucky to break even, but I and you are so far ahead by quitting the analogs ...respiratory rx's are expensive, and seen the price of an O2 concentrator lately? Yikes! *lol*

Keep up the great work and enjoying your vaping community, they've been great for us here in Houston! :)

Great job, Psychdoc! I just passed the 8 month mark. That's the longest I've ever been without a cig since I was 12...and trust me when I say I am no longer anywhere close to 12! LOL :D The first couple weeks were the hardest for me, after that, no sweat! Hang in there, you can do it!!!! Soon you'll notice everything tastes better and smells better, too. Unless it's a real cig...ugh...I can smell it when someone is smoking in the lane beside me in traffic....YUCKY!! Congratulations again on this momentous occasion!!! :vapor:

I am a few days away from Month 9 and wouldn't go back to smoking for anything. When I am out and about and smell stale smoke on people, it just blows my mind to think I smelled like that too. Good lord, I should have been taking showers 20 times a day!! As for the $$ savings, after the first few months of needing everything, it should settle down. All I buy now is juice and coils. Compared to $7/pack almost times 2 each day, what I spend now is practically nothing!! Keep going!

After my first day of not smoking I never looked back and had no interest in smoking a cigarette, but it was costly as I had bought over 50 flavors to make sure I found at least one that would keep me off the cigarettes. Found a couple I liked so much better then the taste of a real cig that it was no problem to quit. And I smoked 3 packs a day for 40 years. Been 9 months now without smoking. Best of luck to all of us vape-ers..
