Congrats....Hopefully you will stick to vaping and not desire analogs anymore. People hear about ecigs and some don't understand it. Like you said "thought it was some kind of scam."

Even I thought it was a gimmick when I first heard about them. And my boss stinks all the time, really bad. He knows I use ecigs and won't give it a second thought of looking into it himself. It's funny because I think he's trying to quit. I think he was chewing nicotine gum last week. But then the next day he reeks of cigarettes. Too bad so sad.

Good for you though!

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I've noticed within a month that stale cigarette smoke stinks. If someone walks in from a cigarette break, I can now distinctly smell it on them.

For some time, I've quit buying cigarettes. Every three or four days, I'd have someone offer me 'a real one' but they've started to taste 'bleh'. I don't even want to finish them now.

My wife, who hasn't been able to give up the stink sticks, has been nagging me a little bit about my vaping. (irony) She does this while her snoring and breathing have become worse. I'm smart enough to keep my mouth shut, though. She still suffers sinus headaches when storm systems come through my area, but I don't anymore.

Her mother has just been diagnosed with double breast cancer, and they're wanting my wife to come in for testing. I'll buy her any mod she wants, frak the money, if she'll give up the analogs.
