Thinking about taking my provari in to get my name/initials engraved & was curious if anyone else had done this?

I was thinking about getting an engraving on the end cap myself but I would probably go with a design rather than my initials - kind of like the end caps on the LE iHybirds but I will have to work around that center hole. I am interested to see if anyone has done something along these lines already.
End cap would be cool. I'm more interested as a way for it to be identified if I lose it. I also feel that it kind of acts as a deterrent from theft if my name is blatantly on the side.

My only concern would be that engraving would take the finish off, leaving the steel exposed to the elements, rust, etc.
If I'm not mistaken it's made from stainless steel, so once the oxidation layer formed there wouldn't be any worry.
Magnet will stick to steel, but not ss, and the provari won't take a magnet.
