Eroll doesn't wick properly

Some of my juices don't wick properly in my eroll. They are all 80/20 pg/vg and all have similar consistency.

4 out of 10 juices taste like burnt wick and not sure why. I've tried several atomizers and cartridges with no results. They aren't thicker or anything, they just don't wick very good.

I have found that plugging the air hole briefly on each drag completely eliminates the burnt taste and gives a much better and stronger vape. I started doing this with all of my juices.

Does anyone else have the same issues?

Some here have but I haven't. I do plug the air hole for just and instant... sometimes several real quick covers... when no amount of flicking will get enough juice to see a bubble come up. It works well. I imagine there would be a temporary burnt flavor with some juices when not enough juice hits the coil.

It doesn't always have to do with viscosity. I have juices that plug the wick faster just because they have more sediment(for lack of a better word). The wick acts like a filter and clogs up. Some don't' burn just they just filter to the point of no flavor. A good cleaning will help. I have even used a lighter and torched the wick until it turns white again.

I don't think that's the problem with these juices. I get the burnt flavor with a brand new atomizer.
