just got an eRoll yesterday. Going to be travelling again for my job and thought it would be a bit more convenient than lugging my APV's around with me through Airports and whatnot.
So I left my eVic at home today, which is what I normally take to the office, and thought I'd put my new toy through its paces. I absolutely loved it. There was only one problem. As good as it is, for what it is, and it's the best mini i've tried out of the box. I'm used to the vape I get with the APV's w clearomizer/tank.
So I started to tinker. First I took out the inner seperator out of the tank, it just pulls out using a needle. This gives a lighter draw. Better, but the cloud of vape still wasn't there. So I took apart an atty. and took out the wick. I noticed that the wick has a small piece of mesh around the part that goes into the atty spike (the part that goes into the tank). So I got to thinking, why do the rebuildable tanks (cobra etc..) use mesh wicks? It's because it's a cleaner taste and they wick much better. So I took a piece of mesh wick i had and replaced that old silica wick with a nice new mesh one. It took a bit of playing to get it just right. Best to roll it loose, leaving a small pin size hole in the middle, measure it with the old wick and make sure it's the same length, too long and it bunchs up against the coil and doesn't wick proper, too short and it will not wick to the coil at all. Insert it in the bottom of the spike just a little, making sure it's loose enough that it will push further up the spike when you put the top back on the atty. Put it all back together and Vape away. You wil be astonished at how much more vapour, flavour you get off this little setup.
