Well I plug in the PCC and it either takes a long time to charge or i get nothing and my batteries get no charge? The unit is like 4 months old . is this common?

maybe it was really old stock? I hear lithium batteries have a shelf life of 2 years, and mini batteries seem to die faster than bigger ones.
tbh I always had problems with my eroll, from charging to wicking. What always fixed the chargin problems for me was to fully drain both the battery and case. GL!

This may not work... or it may :/

When I worked at a shaver shop, we repaired batteries within the rechargable shavers.

When we'd get the Norelcos in, people wouldn't want to pay the high price to replace the batteries. We would tell them to stick them in their freezer for 24 hours (after fully discharged) and then to wait 24 hours after bringing them out. Then to once again plug them in and charge for 24 hours.

Sometimes it helped to reset the memory of the battery. I can't promise it would work on an ecig. But, seeing as the PCC is such an integral part of the eRoll, I hope for you it does work.

If not, and you are gonna toss it, throw it up on ebay, I'd bid on it. I'm looking to get my hands on a few dead batteries. I am seriously wanting to do some modding. Try to create a desk charger and a larger case/charger to carry a battery, bottle of juice (3ml) and maybe a tank or two. (That seems to be what most of us are wanting when I read the thread. Perhaps a secondary battery, depending on what I work out... who knows. I haven't had one die on me yet to pull my own apart.)

Otherwise, I personally love the eRoll and I feel for those of you that didn't get good units. Even getting mine used it's great!

This has me wondering about the dormant "shelf life" of lithium ion batteries ...

I bought a spare Elips battery a few months ago, it was a clearance item, like half price. Turns out it was from a previous version of the Elips, and not compatible anyway. Had probably sat on a warehouse shelf for 2 or 3 years. It took a charge, but was nearly dead when I metered it the next day. I had thought to buy up these old batteries and keep them in reserve, but I'm convinced they don't improve with age ... :(

sadly, this is why I'm so heavily invested in my mech mod collection.

I was getting into mods too but they're in my backup now. Reputable lithium IMRs.. especially high-drain aren't exactly cheap... then add the price of a kick and a fuse for safer vaping and, IMO, it costs more or the same as a good, highly protected, brand like Joye, etc on a regular basis... plus, of course, you just can't get the variety of form-factors with mods.
