So for all the time that I spent here looking for all the answers and finding out that everyone is different the thing that worried me the most was ODing on ejuice. To the point that after over a week I still am living with the analogue as a crutch. I didn't want to throw up (or as so nicely put barf my brains out) or experience ......... I just put my 24mg cart into my ecig and I can tell you that I think I just got it. In the morning I need an ecig ready on the porch and that's what I will do. There is a learning curve but I can say that I think that I am about to go through the first 24 hours analogue free. We shall see. If you can figure this out you are so home free and FREE OF ANALOGUES.

Best of luck with breaking free from analogues. As with almost everything, there is a balance. I find myself switching between 18mg and 9mg depending on the time of day. Managed to stave off the cravings for an analogue for 3 weeks now. It's a good feeling. Love the support and understanding of people going through the same thing around here. It rocks.

after smoking for over 47 years about 1 1/2 packs a day I played with e-cigs for about 3 weeks and then july 2nd stopped smoking regular cigarettes, none of the things you wrote about above happened, now I did notice that the mornings were a little tough but I just vapped away and it was okay also used 24mg nicotine and still am but all I know is if I can do this then so can you

Congrats on your first 24 hrs. I started off with 18mg figuring that was about middle of the road for nic content. After the first week I was still smoking one cig a day, so on the 8th day I bumped it up to 24mg and that did the trick for me.

I've been cig free for almost two months now and I am still amazed that these things really work. :D

Congrats, the 24 hours is the first step. Don't be too hard on yourself either. I started, then had a cigarette. 2 days later, I had another regular cigarette. On day 5, I attempted to have a cigarette and only got half way through because the taste was disgusting, I couldn't stand it. It was at that point I realized I prefer vaping over smoking. I now have been analog free for 8 days (a few hours will be 9 days). I have NO cravings for analogs and it's smooth sailing from here. Hang in there, you can do it.

I started at 18mg and found that it wasn't enough first thing in the morning. I started vaping a few vaps (are they vaps, puffs... ?) of 36mg and then switching back to the lower nic. Sometimes in the afternoon I needed a few high mg. puffs would get me through. Iv'e been smoke free for 6 weeks. Hang in there! It is a learning curve.
