Error message when using back button to get back to my settings page

It happens on any thread I have on my settings page. I click on the thread to read the new posts and then when I click on my back button to go back to my settings page I get that error. The url when I get the error is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/usercp.php but the icon is the old ecf icon. I click on refresh and the new icon shows up and so does the settings page.

I work with macs, in the morning I am gonna try to see if i get the same error but i know than I have the icon i have on Safari is the old one too

I normally have the new icon on here unless the site is down or when I get that error. Then I get the old icon for some reason.

I'm also using Safari 6.0.2 and Lion 1.7.5 on an iMac if that makes a difference.

I am on mac right now and i don't get the error, btw the icon is the new one

Before going to bed last night, I logged out of the site and then shut and quit Safari. After doing that I ran ccleaner for Mac. So far today it seems to be working. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it continues.

Woot!!! That did it, Lis! I logged out and deleted my cache. Me are happy now.

Thanks for pushing me to do it, Lis. I was too lazy to try it when I thought about it.

about 80-90% of the time you can solve forum issues by clearing your cookies and cache. It is almost always the first thing I recommend folks do when they have an issue.

I did that last earlier last night and it only worked for little while and then it went back to getting that error.

Since I used ccleaner for Mac before going to bed, I've been good to go all day.

sometimes a good "deep cleaning" is required to solve cookie related issues after a server glitch or a cookie "spoils" Sometimes the browser's built-in function just doesn't do the trick.

Except I never turn my computer off because I run Boinc (computer distributing) for WCG and R@H so I run it 24/7, Lis.

I know that's why I hate when I have to do a hard cleaning or a resetting of Safari.
