Hey guys, I ordered some attys to try out from Esmoker for my 510. I purchased their ES brand atty to try out, it was supposed to be compatible with the 510. I used a drip tip and vg juice, and all it did was burn like a spark plug out of control, give me a crazy amount of vapor that tasted like burning chemicals. I almost threw up. I added more juice, kept trying, same result. I dry burned for a second without the tip and looked inside and it was litterally creating a red flare when burning. Is this atty not made for dripping on a 510?

The crappy taste may have been due to primer still on the atty. Remove the atty and blow it out from the battery end onto a paper towel several times to remove excess juice and primer fluid. Wipe off both connecting ends and screw the atty back on the battery. Now just drip 2-3 drops onto the atty and see if that tastes any better. You should always blow out your atty before doing a dry burn. It's ok for the coil to glow when you dry burn, that's normal and shows you its working well. I hope you meant "glow' and not really a "flare". Don't add too much juice when you drip or you will inhibit its function and may kill it.

It's not not LR atty is it? Don't use 510 LR attys on slim 510. Those are only for batteries 450mah or charge and higher like Ego. mods, etc

Anything you find that is LR, low resistance, 2.5 ohms or under is generally not for slim 510. You could damage your battery

If the atty is not LR anbd glowed like that then it was not wet enough. And the horrible taste could have been primer. new attys come with nasty tasting primer on them.
