Esspresso teaser gone bad..arrrrr

Just got a 30ml bottle of expresso , 30ml chocolate , and 30ml coffee the... coffee is great but the expresso is nothing like the sample i got with my first order from v4l...I also got a 30ml bottle of chocolate and its the same way awful taste and almost zero vapor...at least the expresso has some vapor to it but the taste is realy bad...To me it taste like glue smells..if that makes sence.

Is there anything i could buy at a local store like food flavoring or something that would add some flavor to this stuff?..What is used to make the flavor in e liquids?...If there is something i can add please let me know.

I was thinking about making some real strong coffee and then boiling it down but what will the caffeine do to me?? Anybody know??

Not sure Id try that !!! but what about the extract you can buy for making coffee flavored cakes and stuff (my ex is a baker) ....not sure it can overpower that odd flavor though ... It literally makes my eyes water ...

I have been waiting for some brown premium blanks to fill with my other juices so I guess I will drain these things and reuse them... only cost me $1 more than blanks if I look at it that way ....yay

now all I have to do is find a use for the juice ...

Sorry Smilin...don't mean to be rude ...you have made me "happy" enough in the past to make up for this and more... one flavor in the list of flavors you offer ...still batting close to a 1000 with me!!

Just to confirm...

I just received my 30 mL bottle of Espresso yesterday. It really does have a very flowery/perfumy taste to it. I really tried to give it a go & made it my main vape at work today. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have done that. I just can't do it.

I guess I'll throw this stuff in the swap thread. Something tells me that this stuff is going to be hard to get rid of though.

Or...I might even try mixing in some of my old DeKang Coffee liquid with it to give it a more "coffee" flavor & hopefully knock off the flowery taste. Anyone try anything like this?

On a more positive note, that Bananas Foster is pretty dang good stuff!

Well the good thing is...the coffee is pretty awesome.

The espresso...well the non-premium is really good. But if you ordered the premium, it may be much different from what you might expect. It is more like vaping a deodorant spray than espresso to me. But give it a chance...you may like it.

Don't count it out yet ...everyone has different tastes...several people say they like the Premium espresso (the coffee was not nearly as strange tasting to me)..You may find you love it ...keep an open mind ...and good luck

Steve says there is a reformulated espresso coming out ...Im hoping it is like the original

Why stick a perfume type smell/ flavor in juice anyway? Makes no sense to me.
They smell and taste awefull. Do the manufacturers think that the smell will make it better?
I wish they had no smell at all.

There's no reason to replace my bottle. At least not in my opinion. Please don't mistake my complaining about a flavor as complaining about the V4L service or products. I guess I'm just more enjoying sharing my vaping experiences here with everyone (both good and bad). My feeling is that when you have over 90 flavors to choose from, there are some that I will love and some that I will hate. It just so happens that the Espresso might not be for me. Oh well...ya live & ya learn. I would have never known if I hadn't bought the bottle. Overall, most of the flavors I get from you guys I LOVE. That's why I keep coming back to you.

So I'll just take a guess & say I've probably bought over 20 different flavors from you guys. And there's ONE that I found that I don't like. I'd say that makes me a pretty satisfied customer.

I do appreciate the offer to replace the juice though.

I dont consider it v4l fault either. They did loose a chemist from what I hear.

The bottle of Espresso I recently received is different than the carto version, for sure. It is still Espresso flavored, but that rich cocoa taste has been diminished and there is a bit of flowery overtone. It's not bad, but it is different. If I had some Chocolate juice, I would add that to it to see how it does. May try Vanilla.

The coffee it awsome i've never had a problem with the coffee..just placed a order for 2 bottles a few days ago...It's the expresso that realy bad.

I don't know if this will help or not..but Lorann's and capella flavor drops make flavors you can add to juice.
Warning! Lorann's chocolate tastes like tootsie pops! Capela's chocolate has better chocolate flavors but in no way do they taste like the chocolate flavor in the prem Chocolate cartos or the chocolate 5 ml size juice. they have other flavors too.
Check your baking or party stores for Loranns..both can be found on-line.

Well I got my order of coffee and espresso carts today. And they are both very good!!
But the carts I got were the older ones with the hard caps on them.
So I am thinking the new premium must be the ones others have gotten that are not so great.
For now at least I am happy!!
