Venting a little I guess. Just went through a 3 bad vaping days in a row.
Purchased some 30ml juices from mtbakervapor to try a few different flavors, and did like a single one of them.
My builds in 2 different RTA just weren't working well.
RTA's were leaking.
iStick 50W (a bit over a year old) is starting to lose it's battery capacity.
iStick 50W charing plug crapped the bed.

All solvable problems I know, but with a busy work schedule I just didn't have time or fix everything up.
But...I struck gold last night. Put new o-rings in my Billow 2, did the perfect build (for me), and I'm a happy vaping camper again :)

Glad I won the cloupor 50W so I'll have a replacement box mod soon.

All good in my vaping world now.

Yes, to be honest those "bad moments" when just about EVERYTHING goes wrong.... when I can no longer taste my fave juice or all of my liquids just taste yucky when they were perfectly FINE yesterday ;) .... when all my stock of freshly charged batteries die in a row one after the other... when my atties all of a sudden just dont give the RIGHT draw even though youve repaired, cleaned and even changed them.....

...yeah.... ;) .......THOSE times are the only times when -for a few minutes- I DO sometimes regret the simple CONVENIENCE of just buying/opening a brand new PACK of cigs, where you had NOTHING to DO and every single one was as "perfect" as the last....

EVERYONE has those "everything going wrong" days/moments...TG they dont last though...and even with those few aggravating moments

....it's still SO WORTH IT !!!!!

I was lucky to find something that worked well right off, thanks to ecf'rs. Too scared to change much after the hold the cigs had on me.

Now I know I have something reliable to fall back on if I ever feel the need to try new things out. Haven't as of yet.
What is that reliable setup you can always count on? Just curious.

I used to have quite a few bad vaping days when i started out.

New juices not living upto standard.
Vapers fatigue making everything tasteless.
Leaky tanks.
AIO batterys crapping out.

Now i make my own juices.
Use a box mod i can recharge and replace my own batteries.
Have 2 solid tanks which have never leaked, along with a few RDAs.
An I don't seem to get vapers fatigue anymore.

My bad vaping days are behind me.

Nice, I should really get me one for a solid backup, just in case. Which one do you have?

I use common Boge cartos but an unusual tank from MomNPop vape shop on ECF. Other popular places to get tanks are Phiniac and IBT.
Boge has their own tank also but I haven't seen many reviews.

Many of us older vapers still use them. Their is a subforum on them here or just start a new thread.

Mind was yesterday... The new eleaf box that I just received in the mailed worked for 5 min before breaking the systematic "atomizer short" error message no matter what I did, my spinner battery pasted away and successive visitors lighting their cig on my face, asking me if I wanted one... It was tempting... I ran to the store, got myself a spinner clone sat back on my chair and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Ya, it turns around. The first couple of months, maybe 4, are a real beach. Lots of problems, depending on where you are with it, it can seem insurmountable at times. After about 6-7 months you start to learn what you like and how to achieve it easier. After a year, if you`v stuck it out that long, you can rebuild in your sleep and it down right gets easy. ;?)

Just have a smoke when it all gets too much. It's the ones you don't smoke that count, so no big deal!

Maybe the rebuilding guff is not for you, all that physics crap and Holmes Law stuff - i know people that point-blank refuse to rebuild anything and get others to do it for them.
Mine is called a wife, but alternatives are available.

Everyone will recommend a different vaping device, but that's because it's like musical chairs and nobody wants to be holding the Vamo when the music stops.

I have had 9 bad weeks of vaping offshore working as a paramedic. Juices that never taste any better, leaky tanks, spinners that fall apart, bad batches of coils.... Now I make sure to have that reliable offshore setup.

4 or 5 bottles of juice and some plain vanilla custard to cut anything harsh. For me a bulletproof mod would be the MVP 3.0 Pro... I had the MVP2 two years ago and it still works like a dream... I have it out here as a loaner with a Lemo drop and some above ohm coils. I always have at least one sturdy tank like the ISUB, a dripper and an RTA. cotton and some pre built coils in a baggie...

I learned the hard way... always have a back up for your back up. The istick isn't a bad little device, but I have 4 MVP 3.0 Pro mods... all from the trade forum 30$ each or less... three came in the box with the isub g tank.... I have 3 innokin disruptors and 2 extra batteries... all still in the box, 30$ each from the trade forum, 3 smok x-cube 2's... 35$ each from the forum, 3 TFV4s... two from the trade forum... The new ISUB Apex 18$ from the forum... a Provari P3 for 115$ off the forum....

The easiest way I found to have a quality set up is buy it in a like new but used condition for less than a lesser device like the istick. Whatever I don't love I sell on ebay or out here at work... I made 305$ this week... I actually sold 2 istick 50 watt mods.

I am so adamant about having a good vape every day, and having top quality gear I just looked for ways to find stuff at a better price. most used vape gear has the resale value of used underwear... I highly recommend you check out the buy sale and trade forum... I have a solid 500$ worth of stuff to sale on ebay when I get home in a week.... and all the vape gear I could ever want... I have been doing this for a while... I save all the boxes... Now all my gear I consider it inventory.

Yep. Been there, I think most of us have. Days when vapors tongue or a sore throat take the flavor of everything away. Days when that new tank leaks, and on and on. I'm on my good days string now, just got a new Kayfun Light V2 plus clone that is absolutely great for flavor, my first build on it was a success, received in the mail some Nude Nicotine unflavored base and I love it (starting to vape unflavored along with another thank for my NET's). I learned to have backups. I have two istick mini 30W with nautilus mini's with 1.2 ohm VOCC coils, these are super reliable for me in cooler weather, its only in hot summer outside where I battle gurgling with them. I also picked up a new Istick 40W and have my KFL V2 on it. Pics:
    Tootle Puffers, Redux (The Sequel)
I have a backup for my backup now. My Kanger subtank mini is sittling aside until I figure out how to stop the airhole leak issue I have after vaping on it a day (both stock and build deck), but not sure I will mess with that now that I have the KFL V2, its perfect for my mouth to lung, high nic, high pg (70pg/30vg) style of vaping. :)

A bargain at $150 each, i'm horrified i missed them.

My bad... no I sold them for 50$ each... still in the box and maybe used for a few days... I also sold a TFV4, and ISUB G, two aspire CF SUBs and an ego one mega... and some juice and coils...

I would never charge that kind of money for an istick... lol... I just make sure my prices are well below the store prices these guys pay... they call me at home and ask for things in advance... My prices don't beat ebay or fastech prices though.

You're the vaper's friend Dan and a massive inventory too. Best of all, if anything you sell poisons anyone, you're a paramedic too!

So that's like two for the price of one awesomeness and why i said the iStick was worth $150 - it has a real lifetime guarantee!

I'm a bit old and things like ISUB G make me shrug, TFV4 - i looked at my TV remote for ages.... i just wrap my dual coiled Claptons and wonder how anyone could beat Fasttech.

Lots of bad days where I can build nothing, nothing turns out, leaky tanks ect. I put it away for the night and grab a new mod and tank from my lineup of 30 mods and over 50 tanks. Always have some on the shelf working well and ready to go. Somedays just nothing goes right. Spares are key. CHEERS!
