Ever thought about downgrading?

Just lately I've been thinking about "downgrading" my equipment.

My usual setup is a silver bullet with a j-tank or dripping on an eGoT2 18650 mod. Hardly subtle when I am out and about.
I know my top 5 go-to juices, I know I'm a Boge 510D LR guy, that's not a problem.

Is anyone making unregulated 510/808 batteries? 3.4V kills me

If I could get an unregulated batteries, one of these fancy 1000mah PCCs that also holds a few boges, I think it would be a good setup for every now and then.

I think I'm sick of big hardware all the time and I'm going through a "mini" stage.

I recommend the volt by smokeless image. Not sure what the voltage is, but always hits great for me. Pretty much all I use when Im not rocking my Reo mini.

That is a nice setup! I think the idea of having a smaller unit is great! Sometimes, I too think that I can do without my fancy devices, as a LR carto and a good battery is always a great vape for me! I would miss my tank setup more than anything! Also, I like the long battery life of an 18650! That being said, you may want to buy a smaller setup and see how it goes. I find that I enjoy switching devices depending on where and when I'm vaping! Good luck <---cop! It's always nice to have backup units and experiment with something new!

Couldn't give up my SB and j-tank. This would be an alternative setup.
It's hard to conceal the big mods when wearing pants, a business shirt and tie!

I only mod for personal enjoyment, but there is nothing hard about making one like that one.
A year ago it cost me a whopping $2.20 to make it. So it's probably all the way up to $3 now.

You are right, there not much to it, biggest question is where to find the parts? Mostly the box and the 510/808 connector. The rest is just solder and hot glue. Great job! How long do you vape off of that?

Since it's an auto, no. But I'd guesstimate at 3.2-3.4V. It's not a 650mAh eGo batt, but it sure is handy for those short (no pun intended) outings!

All I ask is that if you choose to inflict those batts on yourself, please don't vape them outside smoking areas in public. You'll get a lot more hostility because people will think you are smoking and complain. You may even poison the water for the next vaper.

Seeing as though 99% of vapers start on similar (although crappier) equipment, I don't think i'll do too much damage to the cause

There seems to be a few types of the new generation of PCCs.

Horizontal LCD style - Volcano, Eversmoke etc

Vertical LCD style - Apollo etc

Plus the innokin one which I can't find.
Anyone know which are better than any others?
