I really like the look of this tank, but would like you guys to clarify that only the cartomizers that you sell will fit in this tank; the smoktech dct cartos will not fit? That's what it appears after reading info on this tank, but just wanted to make sure. The coffee isn't working yet this morning.

That is correct Sgt. Pepper

On the DCT carto's, the air holes are not high enough to pull the liquid through when used in an Odyssey Tank, which is the reason for the incompatibility.

As a user of the Odyssey tank (I have three), I can attest that this statement is NOT true. You can absolutely use any XL punched cartomizer in the Odyssey tank and they perform marvelously. The Odyssey cartomizers that TW sells WILL only work in the Odyssey tank. I'm not sure why TW doesn't publicize this (they probably want to sell more of the special Odyssey cartomizers at $3/each) but again, the Smok DCT cartomizers work perfectly in this tank.

That is great to hear that you were successful with doing that and we appreciate your input. The Odyssey Tank Replacement Cartomizers are especially designed for the Odyssey and that is what we suggest using. We have seen inconsistency with other brands being used, that is why we do not recommend using then.

I own 2 of the tanks and they work extremely well with regular SMOK- XL cartos or you can puch your own. MUCH cheaper...never have had any issues. IMO, ALL cartomizers have inconsistancies, regardless of manufacturer. It's "hit or miss".

I bought the whole Odyssey device when I was a noob and it was junk. It worked for about 10 minutes producing some good vapor and then randomly the vapor dropped off significantly. I still use the Odyssey tank on my ProVari and it looks great and matches flawlessly. I use the XL Boge cartos on it and they work just fine. The tank itself is pretty nice and I have never had a leak on it, and the refilling tool it came with was pretty good. Just don't buy the battery, junk. P.S. the drip tip is great.

I use an Odyssey Tank on my Twist and its amazing++. I just put it on my provari and it doesnt hit well at all. Im thinking because on the provari i cant use the Odyssey Plinth. Im kinda bummed about it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
