Damn will you PLEASE send some to the Capital Region of Upstate NY. We are getting boned again and it is raining. If we do not get something soon this will be the 3rd winter in a row that sucked! Happy holidays and a Joyous white Christmas to you.
I just came from there this morning...Shelby. I'm from Licking County so it's a long drive no matter what the weather. It's such a wet snow. Good snowball making weather though.
I'm about 7 miles from Shelby. Yeah it's a real wet, heavy snow. I've already got about 4-6 inches in my driveway.
I am glad I got out of there when I did then. So much for that 1-3" they were call for, eh?
It has since quit snowing here in Licking County. I am sure there will be more to come though. I just wish it wouldn't have started so early! Then again I'd rather have it now when I'm on break from school than when I go back to school in January.
Looks like you are getting what we got here in Iowa yesterday..........Get ready because after the snow it will get cold, cold and colder. it is like +3 degrees right now with a wind chill of -25.
No doubt we'll wake up to something between an inch and a foot, maybe more if the temp falls.
the arctic cold front hasn't gone through yet. When it does, it's suppose to get real bad.
My driveway is a hill. I'm already done with the snow for the year lol. Nothing like busting your ... in the am trying to scrape hardened snow from concrete. Yay!
I live in the wrong state...lol If I never see snow again I wouldn't be disappointed.
Looks like we may have a white Christmas. Ugh. As my dad says, "White Christmases are nice...when they are on a Christmas card". I have to agree. I will probably be making the drive from New Albany to Richland county as I do every year. I drive a Honda Civic and these cars are not made for snow. I had two Chevy Cavaliers that were practically 4-wheel drive.
I moved here from southern New Mexico, about 50 miles from the Mexican border, where it snows a couple of inches once a year. They close the schools for it too. I got here last January during the worst part of winter. I think there was 24" on the ground at the time. I'm not used to this. Someone, make it stop.
The best part is watching someone try to navigate in that type of weather for their first time
Wait, half these comments are from ppl OUTSIDE Ohio...Welcome to the sub-forum! 
I'll never understand why people complain about the snow yet continue to live in Ohio. But I suppose the same can be said of me who complains non-stop about the wretched heat in the summertime. Ah well, it's all good. Just watch the roads when you're driving.
