Well when I started out in 2008 there were no variable wattage or voltage pieces available. I was using a pencil type of battery with a 510 atomizer with a tip that was filled with some type of filling material. Believe me they were not the best. I tried tea bag mods, filler material that was made for fish aquariums anything I could to get a better vape. Now things are different, I have 5 Provaris's, Vapor Shark rDNA40, SX mini and waiting on a new SXmini M class. Temperature controlled. I can't believe what people are starting out on these days. As far as I am concerned far to advanced and unsafe for a newbie. My advice has always been for a newbie to start out with an MVP2 kit. They are a great little ecig. Maybe not the best looking but are rock solid. They come with an iClear 30 I believe which is not the best tank on the market IMO but works fine to get you started. The battery lasts for 2 days and they have plenty of safety features on them to keep you safe. They are far more advanced from what I started with but vaping was new then. Once you get a hang on what it is like to vape something good safely then move on to something else. Maybe I am old fashioned but that is my advice. give yourself some time and you'll be getting a good vape in the meantime. The MVP has been around for a long time and if you check around you can get the kit fairly cheap. Then all you need is juice. Make sure you have plenty of that on hand too. Don't go to a vape shop and let them talk you into something that you don't understand, Get a Variable Wattage device and watch lots of videos and ask questions.
