Everything breaks, i'm frustrated, I'm about to just quit

I just got back from one of my favorite places ever.....starbucks, & yes I vape there because they know me.
I have an RX for valium, so it's totally legal, I swear.
I love all of you ECF'ers! I try to bring a positive light to the newbies (and oldies, lol), so thanks to some of you that mentioned that in your posts. I guess I had a monday morning freak out, & 4 oz of Tasty Vapor's Blueberry cheesecake in my lap just topped it all off.
~I have bought more stuff that actually works than hasn't.............so that's a plus.
~99.9% of my PIF activity has been positive. It's hard to see the bad apples until the damage has been done. So, we move on & continue in the PIF spirit.
~There was a thread in the GotVapes subforum (fellow Houstonian baby) yesterday & a joke was make about 12 step programs. One of the best quotes that Bill W is known for is "Keep it simple"
~So, I've decided that keeping it simple is exactly what i'm going to do. I HAD the right thing going with my reo & 2 favorite ave juices.............but I couldn't stop. So, i'm stopping, & going with what works, a Reo Mini & Ave Hype & Sweet Tart.
~PLEASE do not take my first post as a dig at PIF. PIF is fabulous, & I've met some incredibly remarkable people in that group. These are people that I hope to have as lifelong friends, exchanging solstice cards, talking about our kids growing up, sending spontaneous happy birthday pifs for as long as we live.
~Yep, my first e-cig was on the Vegas strip back in 2009. I remember the date, because it was the day after I got married. I remember taking a puff, then looking at the girl that was promoting it like she was insane. I walked away & lit up a camel menthol light. (but still danced on the vegas strip with my son in that one little Hawaiian area with the vendors)
~ Yep, I was happy with a pack of cigs & a gas station lighter for 20 years. So, it'll be cool to be happy with a reo mini filled with hype.
~I don't think that I could ever go back to smoking. I mean 1. they stink, 2. it's something that is on fire & you put it in your mouth. 3. It's sooooooo not me anymore.
~I hope to see everyone in Vegas, where I'll be paying it forward by buying the beverages while we are at the pool

Gotta keep in mind that the PV industry is really just getting started. We are the guinea pigs. At times it's exciting to see new stuff hit the market but with that goes the quirks that all new items in any industry bring along with it.
When I started the manual 510 was just being released. We were using super-mini e-cigs that took 3 hours to charge and gave a 1/2 hour of vaping time. The ONLY liquid was DeKang. It's amazing that any of us actually quit smoking. =)
Sometimes we have to keep things as simple as possible. I keep a Super T mod around for those times. That's a mechanical switch, a battery and an atomizer. Drip a few drops of your fav liquid and vape away. It isn't convenient but it always (okay, *usually*) works. =)

I'm pretty new to vaping myself and while i'm enjoying it, i don't see myself vaping forever. I'm already noticing i can go a lot longer without my PV than i ever could without a smoke, which i personally see as a good thing.
I'm not trying to be a psychiatrist here (god knows i'm not) but maybe you are ready to quit and need an excuse to do so. While the community for vaping is great, i'm guessing it's not something that's going to be easy to just walk away from if i got really into it, which is why i'm not going to try.
Maybe you're actually ready to stop altogether but are really having trouble saying goodbye to all your equipment and the community itself.
I dunno, just something to mull over i guess, but at the end of the day, coming off nicotine in any form can't be a bad thing, for you're health or pocket.

Seriously don't sell everthing off, we've all been known to have bad days, hell I've thrown out my Riva in the back yard, lost one in the snow, found both of them, now if I can just find my fav blinged out kiwi green one that I tossed out back with a handful of weeds a few weeks ago..........sighhhhhhh!

It's not just you having a bad day..It is this Monday...what was up with this day? I had a person at work fly off the handle at me for no reason. He is a very NICE guy that I have worked with for 3 years and I did nothing to provoke it...I was totally just weird...so weird in fact I could not even get mad back. He spent the rest of the day appoligizing and we just laughed about it.

OMG, I fkn love it!!! Your post had me laughing!!! I'll never forget in nursing school, I was sooooooooo poor, & there was another girl that was a single mom with 4 kids, & we used to joke about buying our pots & pans at family dollar~ so if they ever get so nasty we don't wanna clean them, we can just toss them out in the back yard in the snow- then buy new because they are so cheap. (I went to college in Mansfield, Ohio, grew up in Cleveland)

Welcome to ECF Pieman! You provide some excellent advice in your post! Yeah, I'd miss the mod hording, the Houston vape meets & the entire ECF community. The people on ECF are some of the best you could meet. I hang out at 2 tanning forums, 3 mustang forums, & a bmw forum, & the people are NOTHING like they are here. Well, the people on the bmw forum are pretty darn cool, but still couldn't hold a PV to the people on ECF.
Even if I did stop vaping (and definitely not go back to smoking), I would still check in here, make my usual rounds, & hellos. I love these people. Afterall, finding this forum (on accident) is what FINALLY got me off those nasty azz cigarettes.

Yep, it very well could be "today".
I took the day off work especially so that I could drive my son to school on his first day of 6th grade. Well, I woke him up, & told him to wake me up when it was time to leave & I laid back down.
My son never woke me up, didn't get on the bus, & by the time I woke up it was 11am. Yeah, my son officially missed the 1st day of 6th grade. (worst mom everrrrrrrrrr award goes to me)

I've always sorta looked at the "monday" think like a superstition, & never paid any attention to it...........but dang, I guess I totally had a large rant here on ECF on this monday. (normally things like that are saved for the reo forum, lol & can happen any day of the week )
