Everything I need to know

So after many failed attempts, I finally succeeded at building my second set of coils. Not only that but I managed to make them center post! (Go me ^.^) Now there are still many things I'm not 100% sure about. Mainly that of diameter of the coils and number of wraps.

What I ended up with is around .53 ohms on 24 gauge wire on I think it's 3/4 of an inch screwdriver wrapped 8 times. I've learned that the jig I got is no where near as easy as using a screwdriver but not much else.

Another thing I'm not sure about is nano, micro, and macro and what those mean exactly other than diameter. Any and all answers are appreciated. Thank you

I have yet fully rebuild a coil on my own. Have watched a friend do a few rebuilds, watched a few Youtube videos on rebuilding coils. All in though it does seem Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators, also known as the Steam Engine site, seems to have all the textual based guidence one could require. They even have handy wizard dialogs.

"You want what resistence?" "What box or battery you running?" "Okay, you wrap 30 guage wire 9 times round 2 mm to get 2oHm." (This I know is likely incorrect, only meant as example.)

Steam Engine "walks you through" the "tough" math aspects and gives you good old Smokie or Vinny tellin ya, 'ere. "Youse want wat? Right, forgiiiitboutiiiiit, ya's gots to use dis guage and wrap dis many times, ya hear? Good boy/girl, youse make a coil building wizard in no time I tell ya." Apologies if this dialoge seems stereotypical or offensive, none of that is intended, at least not in any derogatory manner. I respect all, self inclusive. It is comforting to me hearing an internal dialog as Boston, New England Greek/Italiano and in that no disrespect is meant. A Master Chief in the navy could have been my dad, his family was "old world" from New England/Boston. So, yeah guess it's merely that which gives me assurance hearing it internally. *chuckles*

Love to all, peace from my heart to yours and Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice and Blessings for the New Year. :)
