You're golden - that will work just fine.

EVOD's are good tanks. Watch for leaking (happens with a lot of clearomizer tanks like the EVOD) or dry hits (bad taste, little or no vapor). These are common issues and can be addressed for the most part - don't jump to dire conclusions if these happen to you; instead, pop back in here and ask for remedy advice.

Many folks will regale you with tales of other tanks and batteries/devices. A lot of that will be based on personal preference and/or a single bad experience of the sort I mention above. Don't be hasty in jumping to other setups (the urge will hit you, if you're like most of us) - work with the setup you have, keep reading in here to beef up your vaping IQ, and focus on the big picture - keeping off cigarettes (I assume).

Good luck with it and I hope you survived the rain this week without incident (wife and I have a place in Scottsdale that we winter at and were watching weather updates while biting our nails). Love AZ, just love it.

I don't know what Kanger is saying - being they sell the battery and the 1.5 ohm coil... but that's pulling nearly 2.5 amps out of what is an ICR battery inside there. That is not 1.) a combination I would be comfortable using. 2.) a combination where the battery is likely to last very long without frying the protection circuit.

Welcome to ECF Chris! I'm not sure how many amps you battery can safely handle but would hope Kanger would not lead you astray. You could always get some higher ohm coils for your EVOD. The lowest I usually go is 1.8 ohms.

As far as I'm concerned the GENUINE kanger and Joytech batteries are the only dependable ego style out there just make sure you only use the supplied chargers and only at the wall on a clean dry surface. Remember that most battery issues happen while charging.
EDIT:
Forgot the Inokin V3 but it is also nearly considered a APV more than a basic ego style.
