I have been without a regular cigarette for 3 days now.

Today I noticed that everything I eat or drink is tasting a little different. Sort of not as intense in flavor. I know that people say that when you quit smoking everything tastes and smells better. I'd say, everything tastes different. Is this a result of smoking withdrawal or is it the effect of the e-juice on my tastes buds? I can't say that I'm really liking it, but I can put up with it.

Thanx.

I've found that things tasted "different" after my first day of vaping but not so much better right away. Your tastebuds are getting healthier and more sensitive to flavors, they had always been damaged by all the chemicals in tobacco smoke and now they are healing and getting back to normal once again.

It will take some time, but before too long things will start to taste better and along with your sense of smell returning, you'll start to see why non-smokers said we all used to stink so bad.
