Hi Aspen :)
I'm still doing some research for these cartomizers. I have ordered a few from several different vendors and it appears they're actually made differently. Some only have half the stuffing to expedite use as others are full to have a prolonged consumption rate. Some are designed to fail after the first use whereas others are built for "9 and counting" I want to ensure that we get the best quality of it's kind but it's been a pretty difficult ride speaking with distributors. As you probably know, I have a good amount of goodies and products on the way so I'm pretty much 'strapped' at the moment to make any orders for anything for that matter!

Anyone try the centrifugal force method of loading the cartomizers. Ya know load it with 20 drops and spin it fast then reload with a few more drops and repeat. When done all set to go. No waiting for it to permeate the filler.

You mean like starting a wood fire? Thats very interesting! and a Great contribution! I actually been using the Johnny Depp method with a syringe

I have to tell you he is so right. One good way to fix the weak capped problem is a great little mod that I discovered a few days ago. If you take a 901 cartridge (that has a brown extension) Remove the extension and it fits perfectly onto the cartoimizer :thumb: and just feels so much better.

DUDE! This rocks!
I was looking at modding a 801 blank tip to fit, but someone had sent me some blank 901 flat tips in error. Works like a charm and no modding necessary.

Sorry it took so long, with all the e-cig charging I neglected the camera battery.
1) Chameleon
2) cartomizer with top removed
3) foamy pencil grip
4) 510 tip
5) all put together

In the pic all together I have an adapter on it, seems to make it draw easier.

So I am fresh to the use of carto's and was finding an extreme difference with them, some were fantastic and then some were terrible. Ok so this led me to investigate further and opened up a good one and a terrible one and looked inside to see if there was a difference, yep. The good one the center tube like thingy was centered very nicely and the bad one was off center. Soooo I take a pin and recenter the bad one and add a couple drops from the bottom so as to fresh up coil, reattach it and whoa what a difference. It now performs much better then before. :D:D

Great to know aspen. The definitely vary even at HV. I get shorter time out of a new prefilled carto at HV but still good time, maybe a couple hours of on and off vaping. With HV I find I only have to draw for 1 or 2 seconds to get a great hit and tons of vapor, so the cartos hardly get hot at all. Had a couple give out after a couple days of refilling I don't know maybe 30 times or more; I vape a lot. Try the foamy pen grip, makes a world of difference with cartos or attys. Can cut the grip in half. The package I got has 5 grips with 4 different colors in it; yellow, red, blue, green. There are also the gel type I got at Walmart and they work too but are kind of slippery.

issac, i just pop an 801 soft tip on the carto as is and it vapes fine. i have a needle bottle (1/2 oz with metal tip) that i can slide through the white ring end cap any time i need to add juice, but i usually back fill it from the battery side.

i had to slowly pry the 801 tip on there the first time, but now it pops on/off with ease.

i've also had to center the plastic tube around the coil. if the stuffing is too flat from being dry, i just run it under hot water, blow it out and it's fluffed right back up and ready to fill.

i can't be bothered with high tech fixes lol :)

Whiskywill has a pretty good idea here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/video-reviews/68292-best-way-fill-kr808.html just might have to give it a shot. Thanks for sharing Whiskywill.:D

Way to go! I always had a problem with fluffing them out with a pin, so annoying! I have a good amount that NEEDS to follow this whole tip! Thank you Mama for sharing this insight! Just brilliant! It's amazing how the easiest, most simplest solutions are always skipped. I been using 901 tips but will Definitely try 801. Biggest +1 ever!!
