eVic and AGA-T2

So I rewrapped my coil Again tonight. Twisted together 2 wires and did a 3wrap. I also moved my wick to the hole next to the silica negative post and changed my washer placement so I could get the coil tighter and lower on the wick. The washer is lower now so I had to take out the regular neg screw and put it in after I had the coil set up but had to leave it raised above the washer or it would short out.
I cut the tip off one of my 30ml Fuzion Vapor bottles and used it to plug the non-threaded wick hole. What I wound up with after getting rid of the hotspots and getting the coils to glow evenly was a .4ohm coil. I've read several places the eVic is unable to fire a sub ohm coil. Well that is wholly untrue as I have pics of mine firing a .4ohm coil. The throat hit is crazy with the 24mg menthol juice I have in it right now. I will not be changing this coil until it burns out.

Oh, I also came up with a solution for the airy draw of the AGA. I pushed out the center pins from a couple nova heads and removed the grommets. I stuck one in the top of my drip tip and one in the bottom. Reduced the hole by a couple mm and tightened the draw a bit.
I'm loving this setup right now. After the coil carbonizes this thing is gonna be beastly. Anyways, here are the pics of it firing a sub ohm.
I had only put a couple drops on the coil for the pic.

Thats pretty awesome, now I will have to play with mine to try this too. Mine hasnt fired anything below .9. Did you update your firmware to the 1.3?

Didn't know it was out. I'll dl it now in the hopes it doesn't "fix" mine being able to fire such a low resistance.
I haven't even plugged mine in for like 2 weeks.

Well, I downloaded the 1.3 and I must say it's extremely freaking stupid. The MVR is broken now. Instead of profiles for VV it's VW now which makes no damn sense whatsoever. Why would I want my wattage to fluctuate during a puff? They didnt add anything new except the worthless stealth option. It doesn't add puffs to your counter in stealth mode. ...!?! I may as well have not even downloaded this crap. What a sorely disappointing firmware update.

Also a buddy has been telling me about his evic having an issue with turning itself off randomly and it just happened to mine. I've got 54% battery and took a puff about 2 minutes ago. I just went to take another and it was completely powered down.

Mine has been doing it as well. I chalk it up to my battery cap not being able to screw all the way in though. Before it only turned off when I dropped it. From nearly any height.

Rewrapped my coil tonight. It looks a lot more clean, but kicked it up to 3.6ohm I may need to get some of that wire you got e.

Just put a fresh coil on my AGA-T2 tonight. I can't believe how much more awesome this is vaping!!! It was my first time wrapping a coil. Turned out ok. I'll hopefully get better at wrapping the coils as I do it more. View attachment 203567 View attachment 203568

Spot on. Now I will say that when I first connected to my evic it read 2.6 ohm and then it changed to 3.6 so it very well may be something came loose, or the meter in the evic not functioning properly. (my evic has changed it's mind about an atomizer's ohm after taking it off and putting it back on lol)

This is how it was set up when it was given to my by a guy at the local vapemeet. Ballpoint pen spring with a washer on top, then the coil followed by another washer, and then the top nut. Having the spring seems to make it easy to line up the coil easily, but I don't know how it came originally to compare. There is another fill hole that in not visible in the picture, it is on the other side of the center post.

I built my first coil and wick tonight on my aga-t2. It worked amazing for about 10 minutes until she popped at the positive post. My next coil only seem to light up between the positive post and coil now. Feeling a bit discouraged now. Not sure what to even do at this point with it.

Try a half dead battery until the coil breaks in a little.
