hi there this is my first post..id like to put this in the apv section but i cant..anyways i just got an evic recently and sometimes it says Atomizer Short?? is this a bad thing??am i doing something wrong? thank you so much

Electricity follows the path of least resistance so when the current finds a circuit that did not exist before, we call that a short. Something is preventing the current from completing the loop. Take a look at the coils wrapping the wick and make sure they are spaced evenly apart.

whats the best clearomizer to use on these?

eVic will work with anything that will screw on it. Main concern is not trying to run below it's threshold or above.
i.e. most devices between 1.5 - 3.0 ohms.

There is nothing wrong with the eVic in is simply protecting itself.
Are you screwing your Clearomizers down Tight? That causes damage ans can cause shorting.

Check center pin on Clearomizer and if needed gently pull it out a tiny bit. Only screw down onto battery/eVic until contact pressure is felt.

Normally no, as long as you take action to correct. eVic simple refuses to attempt to fire to avoid internal damage.

A similar issue on a generic battery could result in a catastrophic failure of the battery/controller
