Evic Control head[/h]
I can't post to the thread about the new control heads, but I just received this replacement control head after my original failed from MyVaprorStore.com. They told me they were waiting for a new shipment to come in then sent this out to me.
It looks very different than my original around the 510/ego connector and has two screws in the top that appear to have some sort of glue holding them in. I've yet to dare and try removing them more than a tiny bit as its functional and I missed it so... But thought I'd try to share as best I can.

Almost exactly as I had determined on the original Design. This should help, though I am concerned about the offset screws giving more strength in one direction than another.

If you have a fairly new eVic maybe contact your vender to see if joyetech will exchange the heads.

For me, I'm good with my 2 as is.

maybe they are using a strengthen head design so it wont snap off as easily?
theres certainly some space by the button where they can run two standoffs from top to bottom to strengthen the top and bottom cap on the head.

That is what I was thinking, does it look like they did anything different on the bottom of your new head?
